Monticello Community Center

"We planned a Birthday party here weeks ago. When we called to confirm the pool hours we were referred to the website because the employees were uncertain, we explained that there were no hours listed on the website hence the call. We were then assured the pool hours were 8-8 and that the date we requested was clear. Upon arriving we were told the pool was closed for swimming lessons and had to move the party elsewhere. We were also told we should have checked the hours beforehand for our specific date. Not even an apology was issued. It's unlikely that we'd ever return."

"I humbly and sincerely disagree with the amount of chemicals such as fluoride, Bromide, and Chlorine, ETC...being dumped into our community water supply...I also completely disagree with 5G cell phone towers and 5G antennas being installed throughout our community...our council members need to seriously consider taking up these concerns in a timely manner...raising taxes across the board on our community is also extremely concerning...as many living amongst our community are already over taxed and yet our roads are not being repaired and traffic through Monticello to Big Lake is absolutely horrendous...with new construction built on the busiest intersection (Broadway and 25)among the 5 mile area was a disturbing disregard for our community as well...along with dangerously installed roundabouts with no regard to speed limits using these roundabouts...it's as if our city council and the mayor...has zero regard for the residents of this community..."

"This community center is a staple if you live around Monticello! I did swim lessons here as a kid and continue to come back to rock climb! All the staff is so helpful and the facility is well kept and clean! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something to do for a fun afternoon. There’s even a water slide!"

"I am from out of town and am a 16 year old, and they kicked me out of a spa because the lifeguard was also 16 and did not know me... Other then that the fitness center is decent and the basket ball court could be better ."
