Value Plus Flooring

"Value Plus Flooring installed our flooring in our brand new house. The flooring that they installed was guaranteed for life, and would hold up to “anything life throws at it.” Our boards were coming apart to no fault of our own. There’s a transition that broke approximately three times since we’ve lived here and I have never in my life seen a transition break. I was in touch with them back in September 2023 to come out and look at this floor and it took them 6 months to actually come fix it. I said I was ok waiting if they needed to figure out a plan. I was extremely patient waiting. 6 months later they fixed it, but now they want $200 due to it being past warranty… as far as we knew, they were working this out with our builder and with the actual floor manufacturer since we didn’t do anything wrong to cause the floor to be defective and it’s supposed to handle what life throws at it, right? When we talked to Chuck, he said that they do their best to take care of their customers. The way that it was discussed there was no dollar amount involved, as though they took responsibility for the fact that, to no fault of our own, the floor was not quite right. So this bill was a total surprised to me. A customer should absolutely never be surprised by a bill. How much something is going to cost should be an upfront discussion. Considering there was no discussion, I did not assume we would be given a bill. Given how long it took them to actually come out and fix it and the surprise bill, I will not be using them for future flooring. And I would not recommend them."

"This company did very good to rectify what was an initial problematic situation. The carpet was unfortunately installed incorrectly due to a communication error it took a while to get somebody to reach out which then the salesman wasn't very helpful and didn't really want to fix the situation. That's when Chuck the customer service guy was extremely nice listened to my concerns and needs and came out himself with the crew to make sure it was done right."

"This is the second time in less than a year we used value plus. This time we had carpeting put in on our second floor bedroom and told the salesperson that installers had to be masked. This worked the first time, but not this time. They wore masks when they came but had masks off when they were upstairs and only put them on after we told them to. My wife and I had ours on in our own house, and these folks disregarded it. Minor quibble: came in and out of house on a rainy day with wet shoes."

"If you have the pleasure of working with Dave Piecka, you will be pleased. We remodeled our entire home which included all new flooring. We worked with Dave to find the perfect flooring for our home which included carpet, luxury vinyl plank, and vinyl sheet in bathrooms. The customer service we received from Dave was remarkable. Dave knew the most important thing to me throughout this process was that we would be working with someone that would have our back if necessary. He went above and beyond my HIGH expectations in that department. He answered questions on weekends and hours outside of work. If I had a question or concern, it was addressed immediately. Since Dave spent years as an installer, he brings a uniquely educated aspect to the process which is admirable and comforting. The install went smoothly for the most part with exceptional customer service from installers. Again, if I had a concern, the installer would work until I was happy. Dave was always there to answer my phone call and even spent time at our home monitoring the installation process. There are a lot of flooring companies here and it’s not an easy decision to choose one when you’re spending thousands of dollars but I stand behind this company 100%. The prices are better than competitors and the customer service we received is truly unmatched."
