Quality Inn Columbia Mall 3251 30th Avenue South, Grand Forks, ND 58201

"Let's start with the strengths. Lots of parking. Great location. Extremely close to Columbia Mall and Texas Roadhouse. Staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was pretty good. The room and bedding were very clean. Here's room for improvement. Both queen mattresses in our room were well past their life. Very soft and squishy with no support. I had to pile up pillows around me so I wouldn't roll out of bed. The bathroom was ridiculously small. I had to straddle the toilet to close the bathroom door. The tub didn't drain after shower and the toilet was plugged. I was given a plunger by the staff incase it happened again. The pool was good but extremely cold. The hot tub was comically small. I know, first world problems. I wasn't expecting a luxurious stay. However, when I pay for a room I expect no issues."

"Great Hotel Rooms. The rooms were clean and the employees were super friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and a nice bonus. Breakfast had a good amount of variety and food was great."

"The bed had dirty sheets (found multiple hairs on sheets). You can feel the spring coils in the bed. It’s a very old and noisy hotel. It’s 11pm and you can clearly hear people talking in their rooms. The hotel does not feel clean."

"This is the best quality inn we have stayed in. We have been to many. The staff, especially Tessa and Amy are wonderful. We stayed in the summer during my husband's birthday and the manager, Tessa, made my husband a personal cake. It was wonderful and he ate it one sitting. Very polite and helpful staff. And asked us many times if we need anything and told us just to ask if we needed some. We only want to stay here when we come to grand forks."
