"Really terrible service. I ended up with Home Services Insurance because it was recommended by my realtor (Long) when I purchased a home. After the first year, my home policy (delivered by West Bend) went up 56%. I contacted this office, asked to speak with the agent assigned to my policy, and was put on hold indefinitely by the receptionist. After an hour on hold, I hung up. This happened multiple times, with the agent, Kevin Ames, never returning my calls. This company is very communicative when they want your business, then completely ignores you once they have your business. I will not renew."

"This insurance was okay the last few years when the most I had to do with them was to come once a year and pay my renewal premium. However, this year, I did not need the insurance anymore and I had to cancel the property, and get a refund for the remaining term. Absolutely terrible experience, and I advise folks to be careful. I submitted a request online, and it took them 3 weeks to get back to it, and since then it has been more than 12 weeks, and no refund on hand yet. All emails goes unanswered and this lady - Shannon Koutsovalas - is just terrible. With no more options, reached out to this guy - Chris Rosati - and after that Shannon responded once. However, the refund check has not arrived, and all subsequent emails have gone answered, even with this guy Chris in the mix. Just highlights the overall attitude of the company. Like everyone else who has reviewed this company, I too thought these folks are offering a good rate, and it was good with the previous agent who used to help me during times of renewal. However, it looks like all that these people care about is selling and renewal but nothing else. Just be mindful before you can consider using these people for your needs."
