"Rooms were clean and the beds OMG the beds and pillows are soft as a cloud! If you can imagine sleeping on a cloud ☁️"
"At first glance upon entering, the room seemed nice with newly renovated flooring, which made the room smell so much cleaner compared to carpeted rooms I’m used to. However, as the night continued, we started to notice lots of issues with the room. A shower/ bath feature at a hotel is very important. The shower did not work; the spout would not switch over from bath to shower no matter how much we tried. The tub was very small— the smallest I’ve ever seen— so being forced to take a bath was not ideal. When I was finished, the drain would not stay up, so the only way to drain the tub was to hold the drain up until it was empty. These experiences altogether made it the worst bathroom I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Very inconvenient and annoying. A hotel should create an atmosphere of relaxation, not stress. The front door was shut but was not on properly, so we dealt with a cold draft for the entirety of the stay, which also caused noises from the outside to be louder. The bed was comfortable though. You can tell someone is trying to make it more inviting and visually pleasing, but the maintenance needs severe attention. The overall facade quickly crumbles to reveal many underlying problems."
"The rooms were discustsing. There were cockroaches everywhere. I stayed here for 2 days and I killed over about 30 of them. The floors were gross. The staff was pretty nice. Crack heads and travel workers usually stay here. Probably worse than Simple Stay hotel right across the street. Unless you like little baby cockroaches everywhere please do not stay here."
"This place... *shudders* I don't know how in the ever-mother-lovin' HECK our particular room type (king bed hot tub suite) ended up with a 10-star rating on Expedia, but it was NOT from someone who actually experienced our SPECIFIC room. I would have been EMBARRSED to stick someone in that room in the state it was in, if I were the manager. Where do I start?!? I guess in order... First we walked into a bone-chillingly cold room, where the A/C had been set to 65 degrees (despite the previous night being in the 30's!). We immediately switched the unit over to heat and were unimpressed with the output. Them room overall looked like someone had attempted renovation and stopped halfway. Part of the wall was peeling, the ceiling above the hot tub was peeling (which we later realized actually led to a hole in the ceiling), it was sloppily caulked around the wall, and a side of the tub had been re-caulked on at some point and taped back on to hold till it dried, and the tape was still there. Oh, and not to mention there was not a complete seal around the door, even with it closed and latched shut, creating a nasty draft. After leaving the hotel for a bit to see if the room would ever warm up, coming back and barely noticing any difference, we pulled the filters out of the HVAC unit and found they were DISGUSTING and clogged, and took them outside to clean them ourselves. That seemed to create a slight improvement in airflow... We finally complained to the front desk at this point and we were merely provided with the smallest, small-room space heater to compensate. (There was ONE other suite they offered to switch us to, but it was a smoking room....no thank you.) We begrudgingly plugged in said tiny heater, and went out again for a little bit. Came back and still...it was BARELY any warmer, or more like less cold. Needless to say, we made sure we weren't going to get charged for our stay and left to find a better place....the Super 8 one exit up (sadly the only other place with a hot tub suite that was pet friendly). It's sad; the room really had a lot of potential. It was large, had a second sink outside of the bathroom, a nice TV, and an impressively comfortable mattress."
"The pool was very refreshing on such a hot day!! It was nice to go back to the room and relax in the hot tub after a long day. The bed was very cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be back!"
