Emerald Isle Resort

"We had an amazing time at this resort. There are updates that should be made to make the place more appealing, but other than that, Amazing. My family and I were there for a week and took full advantage of all of their family friendly amenities. They have a pool and jacuzzi, basketball and volleyball courts, tether ball, miniature golf, a fire pit, sauna, a giant battle ship board, and in the rec room a giant connect four, pool table, and ping pong table. The office has a nice room to relax in where you can’t check out books and movies, games, and different sports balls. There are kayaks and a paddle boat that sits 4, so much fun. The lake view was breathtaking. The area is full of life. Fish, turtles, ducks, geese… We were able to eat at the amazing Mexican restaurant right next to the resort, I believe it’s called Jose’s, soooo good. Best part is you could walk to it. Kiara was the best! Everyone was super friendly, but she was our favorite."

"The furniture was old and dusty and honestly straight out of the 80s and 90s. The service was literally non-existant, which was honestly fine by me. They charged us for $110 cleaning fee, but expected us to take the trash out ourselves. The view of the lake fromt was quite amazing though. That made the room worth it. The TV and tech set up was a joke, but I wasn't there to watch TV anyway."

"This was our 4th year staying and and always have a great time! Our room was clean and well stocked. The pool is perfect. Staff was amazing! New paddle boat and kayaks!! The location is convenient to everything! We always enjoy but this year was even better!"

"We were put in 6A…. The condo had dead bugs on the floor upon arrival. All of the light switches were kind of dirty and in the room closest to the lake appears to have been flooded. You could see the damage to the dresser and baseboards. The sliding glass doors were dirty and flies all in the condo. The sliding screen door was broken, there was a wicker chair with ottoman that needs replacing or some extra TLC. The bed linens were clean and comfortable, but I would not stay there again. The parking space for this condo holds water after a rain which makes it hard to exit or enter your vehicle. The location was great on the other hand!"
