"My son had a blast, and we cannot wait to go back next week!"
"MSDT has been an amazing experience. I started my son at age 8 to help him learn self discipline, respect, focus and how to protect himself. I soon after started my 12 year old daughter after seeing what all was being taught to my son. It’s beyond karate, it’s a relationship and a respect for self and others in addition to awareness and self protection. MSDT does private lessons which, for us, makes a huge difference. Master Mills is phenomenal, connected with my kiddos and cares beyond measure. Christun teaches my daughter most of the time now and every time we get in the car she says “I love her!”. The other instructors there are amazing as well to which my son always has something positive to say when we leave. My son is learning to throw stars now as well, which is cool to say the least. Mostly, it’s more a family than a “place of business” in my opinion."
"Updated review after being a student for 2 years: MSDT offers martial arts training for people who want to learn how to defend themselves effectively, not just look cool. They have private lessons, so that training goes at the pace of each individual student, and makes for flexible scheduling. Sometimes families or couples will take lessons together, which offers a mix of a group class and a private lesson, and also allows them to save some money. I would recommend MSDT for any person regardless of age, gender, or fitness level, as long as they are serious about martial arts. Prices are good, considering you get a private lesson each week, and the option to attend Tuesday night group class at no extra charge. Master Mills is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about martial arts, and so are his instructors. Also if you are a nerd for ninja weapons, you learn a wide variety of them in MSDT as you advance through the belts. Awesome through and through. Original review: Offers private lessons, prices are reasonable."
