MedExpress Urgent Care

"I visited MedExpress in Cabot for an injury to my hand that occurred while I was volunteering in town. I was seen quickly, and the staff was friendly and professional, putting me at ease every step of the way. Though I have the option to visit any urgent care for follow-ups, and there are urgent cares closer to where I live, I go out of my way return to Cabot because I am confident I'll receive consistent quality service."

"Went here after fighting a sinus infection for months…. Paid the $199 bill for an uninsured visit just to be given a steroid. I even called back asking for an antibiotic only to be spoken to rudely and told to come back again to be seen again the next day… they never even looked up my nose during my visit…. But gave me a pregnancy test!!!???? I came here in the hopes to get better, this clinic is a joke!!!"

"Went in because I don't have a pcp yet. Needed a rx for some BP meds. Low dose and just some atenolol to get me by and not have a stroke until I get a pcp. The APN Darlene Lowman told me to not come back that she wouldn't refill a BP rx. I asked, even if it's on a Saturday and pcp is closed or I have an "urgent" situation? (Urgent care) , and she said no. That's literally what this place is supposed to be, an urgent care that's not an emergency room, for those who need medical care but does not have a pcp or they are closed due to weekend etc. I was blown away at how unprofessional she was and rude to me for simply paying $190 dollars for the office visit to ask for a month rx of BP pills. I wasn't asking for narcotics, benzos, or controlled substances. Just something to keep me from having a stroke. Medexpress should really consider replacing her with someone that is more customer friendly and understands people's situations. Literally told me to not come back and spend more money there. $190 for an apn to write a rx for BP meds then said don't come back. Well, Med Express, I won't be back. From a 20yr experience ER Nurse myself, I was shocked at this experience. I'd advise anyone else to go elsewhere also. Darlene will disappoint you and be rude all at the same time while you fork over 200 dollars. Not worth it."
