ARcare Cabot (West)

"Took my 16 month old in for running high fever, not drinking or eating and the nurse swabbed him for the flu and Covid. 15 minutes later APRN Amy Sullivan comes in and tells me he has tested positive for the flu. She never asked me any questions of what had been going on. She gave him medicine when he had just been given some 2 hours prior at home. (Which she didn’t know because it wasn’t asked) She then checked his ears and said they both looked fine, to alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours and sent us on our way. Well 4-6 hours goes by and his fever(101.8-103.5) is not breaking so I take my son to Children’s and they tell me he indeed does have an ear infection and his flu test came back negative and also his heart rate was 170 but has come down to 155 when it’s supposed to be 120 and is hooked up to all kinds of things. Definitely DO NOT trust this women. Her license clearly means nothing"

"If you have a choice don't even bother with this AR care or any of them in general. When you have asthma issues they rather just send you to the ER rather than to provide any help at all. So in my opinion, if you are sitting and doing nothing and sipping tea from your hydroflask than actually being a nurse or doctor, just stop working and re-evaluate your lack of purpose. Get good and do better AR CARE or quit."

"Front desk is terrible! Hung up on me today because I asked her to let Amy know I have been waiting on my referrals! After 3 weeks ,don’t tell me what I was told the week prior. I don’t need to hear that messages were sent to Amy and we are just waiting on her to look at them! You are in the same office, I would have expected a more efficient response .It has been quite some time, let me see if Amy is available to take care of that for you or I will address this since it has been a several weeks now!!! I shouldn’t have to wait this long for my referral to be faxed over! I will be removing my entire family from ARcare and finding a place that takes my health seriously! Very disrespectful front desk staff! I do not recommend after today!"

"My family has been going to the ARCare clinic close to the Cabot high School. We recently after a while going was told there is no MD in that clinic. A little tid bit they never told us. The front desk is very minimal, and the other staff is not much better. My husband went in to have something checked and was pretty much dismissed. The NP and nurse walked out of room without saying anything, leaving him to believe they were returning. They let him sit for 10 minutes until he went outside and they said they were done. He left that office with no answer and very aggravated!! But don't worry they took his copay!! One week later he went to West on highway 5. And he had a very nice appointment!! Wanted to give a shout out to the office there. They were great with him!! He really liked Dr. Amy!! I know where I'm taking my whole family now!!"

"I don't know why anyone has reviewed that they have had a bad experience, I hate that. I surely haven't had a bad experience in all the years I've seen Amy! The front desk reception is always friendly and so is the rest of the staff. Amy always listens and does her best to understand. I'm not big on taking medicine unless I absolutely have to. Every trial I have been through, this location has always pulled through and made me better! My wait time isn't very long and they always do their best to get me in when I need a visit. If they are booked, they'll refer you to another clinic close by! It's not like they don't care, they definitely try their best. I wouldn't go anywhere else!"
