"I’ve been struggling with their billing department for 5 months. In October I got a “past due” notice for $220 with no additional details. I called only to find out it was the first time they were billing me for a service that was done 14 months earlier. When I asked why I was just now getting billed the poor girl tasked with answering my call fumbled and explained they had new management and they were “going through past due accounts”. They failed to file my secondary insurance at the time of my service and I explained that I paid my estimated patient portion when I was getting the service. I’ve spent hours over the last 5 months sending them copies of my secondary insurance, calling, emailing and texting to tell them that I still haven’t see them submit the claim (likely because they are past their timely filing limits). Today they admitted they’ve had the secondary coverage on my account the whole time, which is validating because it hasn’t changed in the last 10 years. The whole situation is unfortunate because I love their providers. I’ve lost hope with this new back office management and now I have to find new care for our family. I will continue to call or email with every bill but won’t be back after this."
"I've been on and off about writing this review. But i feel it will help new clients considering metro dental care or atleast this location. I came to this location a couple years ago due to a move. I immediately chose metro dental care because I went to a different metro dental care growing up. The first appointment was very long. they did alot of things no other dentist has done before even for being a new client. The 2nd appointment the hygienist was really rough so rough my mouth hurt for 2 weeks. The office actually addressed my concern and had me come back and have a one on one visit with a really nice and caring guy dentist. He made sure I was OK and took my concern seriously. They actually switched me to a different hygenist so I wouldn't have to worry for my next appointment. Sadly after that visit that's when things went down hill. They stopped doing Saturday appointments. they didn't notify me until a week before my next appointment and had me reschedule my appointment and made me wait even longer. I blew it off since when I finally had my appointment the hygienist was really nice and gentle. Butttt the dentist wasn't the nice and caring guy dentist it was a girl dentist. She is soooo cold and not welcoming and seemed to be in a rush. I asked her questions and she said she can't answer them until my next appointment. Even though they were basic questions like do I have cavities or chipped teeth. The hygienist was way more nice and welcoming and even scheduled my next 2 appointments. I had to wait 8 months for my next appointment. I just had that appointment a couple weeks ago and was very disappointed. I had the same hygienist as last time. I thought she would make a comment how my flossing improved since we talked about flossing last time. No she seemed tired and was actually rough with me as if she was tired from working on so many clients from the day. But here's the kicker this appointment I waited 8 months for the dentist wasn't even there! they said I can make a seperate appointment to see the dentist since she was on vacation. The hygienist said on her end there was no concerns with my teeth...but remember that cold not welcoming dentist said she would answer my questions next time. Well its next time and she's not even there! The appointment got worse when the hygienist said she could schedule my next appointment. I said there's no need its already scheduled for July. Remember she scheduled my next 2 visits at the last appointment. She said there's no record of that July appointment. She mentioned something about July 17th and appointments aren't on that day of the week or at that time. which didn't make sense since my appointment card that she wrote down at the last visit said July 29th but theres no record of it now. So she had to reschedule. now i have to wait until August for my appointment. This place has to turned into the Walmart of dental care. I've been to private offices that are far more professional and nice and no issues. Don't waste your time with this franchise. Also they don't offer to glue permanent retainers. Every new dentist i go to I always make sure I can come and get it glued if it falls off. All have said yes but this location. They told me I have to go to a ortho if that ever happens they don't have glue at this location. I feel these next appointments I have scheduled will be my last."
"I called my Insurance to verify Metro Dental was in network and I also contacted the clinic to ensure coverage. I booked my appointment 6 months in advance so I could take the day off from work. When I arrived for my appointment they said my Insurance wasn't in network. I tried to pay out of pocket (I just needed a cleaning) and they said it would be considered Insurance fraud. I couldn't win. I felt like the ladies at the front desk just didn't feel like working that day. I'm calling and reporting them to my Insurance company for refusing service. Bad business go elsewhere."
"I hate going too dentists period!! But I actually like having my teeth done here. My dentist Dr. C and her crew are nice. I don't really have anything negative too say. Except the new phone system , but that's not the dentist problem. It a corporate issue that needs addressed. Hopefully quick!!"
