"Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone. I do appreciate that they accept tricare, as not all dental offices do, but the dentist botched a filling that she herself told me was incredibly small. In my life I’ve had 3 cavities, this being the 3rd, and I took a risk going to a new place closer to home. Imagine my disappointment when a small cavity resulted in needing to go back 6 times within a year to get the filling “adjusted”. These adjustments were never helpful and really they were just a waste of my time. For over year I wasn’t able to chew on the right side of my mouth. Considering I went into this visit without any symptoms of a cavity, I was surprised by the diagnosis and then upset when her filling it resulted in intense pain for a year. I was then billed an additional $200 for a cleaning that I was told was covered by insurance. This was extremely disappointing because I normally only go for a cleaning on a yearly basis but their employee specifically told me that she checked and this second cleaning was covered. Given that my pain was still not resolved I wasn’t exactly thrilled to be paying even more for a job I felt was done poorly. Also, not the biggest deal but their clinic in general doesn’t appear very well cleaned or kept. The lobby had old leather sofas that are full of tears and cushioning falling out. The whole office has a grungy dirty feel. However, both the hygienists and the front desk staff are very nice and professional. I’m now a patient elsewhere and wouldn’t return here."
"The dentist and hygienists are top-rate. Very good and thorough caregivers. Unfortunately I am considering changing dentists due to the overbooking of patients. In Dec of 2023 I waited for 40 minutes past my appt time to before the dentist got to me. Today (March 2024) I waited for 35 minutes past my appt time to see the dentist. This is not ok with me and I may have to switch to a place that respects their patients’ time and personal schedules."
"We’ve been going here 7 years now. Stability is a big thing we look for and they have it. It’s inviting, comforting and trusting. They are great with kids - explain processes in a way I understand and always available for a quick call. Honestly, i couldn’t ask for a better team for our dental needs."
"Dr. Laabs and all of her stuff are very kind, professional and good! I have TriCare Dental Insurance and this is the first office in nearly 20 years who knows how to work with it. Service members, get your butts in there!"
"I Didn’t feel comfortable entering this place and I guess I had the right vibe. They were in Medicare network this the reason for my appointment. I felt like a robot attacking me taking 18 X-rays of my mouth, being a new patient and just going on Medicare ins. I was told after having the ultrasonic cleaning (which was new to me also) that I had 5 to 6 cavities and one or two needed addressed right away. I thought that was strange since I had a check up and X-rays just 6 months prior at my old dentist. I had a second opinion and no cavities needed addressed or anything else. I feel Midwest Dental are just going after insurance money. I won’t be going here again."
