"Yeah I just stopped by 2 say hi to the boys have been there for a while so i'd like to have to show my presents"
"Thank you to the on call parts department guy for saving the day and coming in and getting us what we needed, to keep our machine running during this holiday snow storm."
"I’ve bought 2 new pieces of equipment from Ziegler now and one of them (mini ex 305.5) I just had in for warranty work that I found out that there was a service bulletin out for a known problem that the turn table bolts had a torque problem from factory and on some machines would come loose. Well mine was one of them and had I known, this was a problem I would have brought it in, but I had never received the bulletin. Anyways, I brought it in and they said they would cover 50/50 as I was on edge of warranty. Wasn’t too pleased with this so dealt with the management expressing that more should be covered since it’s a known problem. They said they would check on it and get back to me the next day. Didn’t hear back the next day. Few days later I get a call letting me know they are still looking into it and will get back to me the next week. A week or so goes by, no word at all. So I contact the guy and he passes me on to the outside territory salesman. Guy is very pleasant and friendly and says he will look into it that afternoon and get back to me later in the day. Evening comes no word. 2 weeks have now gone by and still nothing. Tried contacting salesman end of last week, no response back. After all this I’m realizing ziegler doesn’t seem to care for the small time operation. At this point I think it’s time to find a new brand and dealership that takes better care of their customers because the small guys eventually become the big companies. But I guess ziegler won’t be getting any more equipment purchases from this guy. Not impressed at all Ziegler."
"Broke the electrical connection on my trailer and the fine people at Zeigler CAT took a combine out of the shop to get me in and fix it up. I was extremely grateful they were so accommodating."
"Always went to cat for the warrenty but I can tell you it's not worth the paper it's on. Had a cracked head, brought it in replaced the head and was told liners looked great. Few months later cracked a liner so back it went. Replaced the bottom end with the gold kit with the extended warranty not long after blew a head gasket and had to replace a cylinder pack and re ring a cylinder none of which was covered. always complained the truck had a miss and poor fuel mileage ran terrible but I was told everything is within spec. 3 months after it dropped and injector in number one cylinder and I had enough so I took it to a different shop and had it tore down and found liner protrusion to be at 0 and one of the bottom bores on the block was eroded away in a spot that should not have been reassembled and could not have happened in 240 thousand miles. Also the head gasket was about ready to blow out again. So I have a engine with a twice what a overhaul cost that could not make it 240k miles without the head coming off three times. Cat did send a service truck to the shop it's in now to check the specs and according to them everything was just fine and within spec. So you can roll the dice but having my truck in cat has almost destroyed my life, and put an extreme hardship on my family so thank you for that."
