"I went into Grand Forks Kia with the intent to purchase a car. I was extremely disappointed with Chris Bjerk, the finance manager there. I had a great experience with Justin, who I worked with up until going into the store. Chris was very openly agitated at simple questions that I tried to ask. As well as talking down to me when it came to financing and tried to take complete advantage and overcharge. After sitting in their store for over 3 hours and being disrespected I decided to no longer do business with them. Very disappointed in my experience with their finance manager"
"I was visiting Grand Forks from Toronto a few weeks ago, I got a flat tire on my rental late Friday night and had it towed here, they answered the phone 30 minutes before opening, found me a new tire, installed it and called to say it was ready all before 10am. I was able to not only get back to Winnipeg on time for my flight, but they also fixed it in time for me to visit Fargo that day and enjoy my vacation!"
"They don't deserve one star but only choice. My daughter bought a 2016 Sportage new from this dealer and never had a good experience with this dealerships service department. She had 1 warranty issue she drove over 200 miles round trip to have fixed 3 times and it was never resolved. Recently the engine seized with 108,000 mile and we hauled it to the dealership to see if it would be covered. It took 25 days for them to check the vehicle to see if it would be warrantied. They declined to warranty the vehicle because of a recall that was not done. My daughter never receive the notification of the recall. They quoted her a price to replace the engine that was more than the vehicle is worth. She declined to have it done and went to pick it up and they charge 167.00 to tell her she had a piece of junk. To show how greedy this company is they did 4 recalls on a car during the inspection on a vehicle that was going to the junk yard. Another surprising thing was I (her dad) went an picked up vehicle and they let me take it no questions ask, they had no clue who I was. Please save your self or family in our case a lot of heart ache and steer clear of this dealership and KIA vehicles."
"Took our vehicle in a few months ago. Worst customer service experience ever. I know this dealership has supposedly undergone new management, but until the entire service staff has been fully re-trained or replaced I would avoid this place and go somewhere else. Car owners beware and be warned."
"Had an absolutely amazing experience with Justin Morken a few months ago purchasing a used vehicle here. He was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process and very accommodating while I got my funds in order. Nothing but good things to say for him. The same can not be said for the manager, Chris Bjerk, that worked on our deal. He was extremely rushing while we worked through the paperwork and financing and didn't allow any time to even skim the title of the documents I was signing. He also became very apprehensive and verbally angry at me when I mentioned that he was trying to sell me a protection plan after I had already turned it down 2 separate times before and he continued to pitch it the 3rd time after I expressed my disinterest. He angrily said it was purely an offer, but it sure felt like a sales pitch. Otherwise I had a great experience, the dealership is very nice, only reason for 3 stars is the manager, Chris. Customers should not be rushed into blindly signing documents, especially first time car buyers navigating a complicated new experience, and they sure as hell should not be scolded for not wanting to purchase protection after 3 sales pitches."
