"Love this place! As an AMAB person (who also presents as male) interested in drag, shopping for women's clothing & accessories can be a bit intimidating. However, the owner was so nice and accommodating. He welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel judged whatsoever. I really liked the fact that they have an AMAZING selection of heels, especially since I needed a size 12 in heels, and they had many options. Many people had recommended I go to Bondesque, but they did not have the selection that Venus has, and Venus's prices are also better. I'm so glad I saw Venus next door and decided to go in. I'd choose this store any day over Bondesque. Oh and in regards to people complaining about the parking, well, it's a small business off of lake street in uptown, so what do you expect? There's free parking on side streets nearby, otherwise look for a metered spot and go during a time of day with less traffic. I highly recommend this store!"

"If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. The site advertises free parking, when I called I was told no there really isn't but I can park on a side street. Which... no thank you . As we walk up to the shop there are 2 people standing in front of the door so we politely ask to come get by and the male standing there made a snide remark saying oh you're coming HERE. Yes. Yes we are. My friend and I were all excited because the site advertises plus sizes, which isn't very common thing you usually have to order online which is a pain but I had a photoshoot the following day. So as we get in there I wanted to see if a robe would fit me properly because I didn't want to spend another $100 on something that wouldn't fit, so I went to try the robe over my clothes and the male yells out that I can't try anything on in the store, i think his words were " you cant hust come in and here try things on" and the female comes walking around the corner and says oh its a robe thats ok. from there it just got worse I finally picked my shoes out for my photo shoot and as I bring them up to the counter the man standing there I'm still not even sure if he actually worked there, said which one is this for? As if we weren't standing right there. I was already offended and as I looked up at his face I could tell he was holding back whatever else he was going to say. I was spending almost $300 in the store for one photo shoot the following day. The last thing I needed was somebody to judge me when I came in to do some shopping. I'm absolutely disgusted by how this went. How do you talk trash to people or act that way and they're spending money with your store? How do you even have a job? I am surprised that man is still working there I'm over it. And will never come back into that store again it is disgusting the way that went."

"Such a Wonderful shop with Friendly and courteous service. The selection of heels and apparel is Great. I found a Beautiful Bling clutch to put them Dollar Bills in. Will definitely be back. Thank You"
