"I purposely made a special trip to the mall to go to H & M as there was quite a few things I wanted to try on that I had seen online. It was 6:30 PM & the store personnel tells me that the fitting rooms were closed due to staff shortage. I was not happy. Needless to say, I put back half of my items. How can you make $$ if you won’t let customers try your product on? It’s not like the store was busy so to let a customer or two try clothes on if you would like to make a sale. I just know I was disappointed."

"An employee decided to follow me out of the store and accuse me of stealing a pair of pants. She asked me if she would find pants if I unzipped my jacket. I told her no and showed her. She returned to the store and so did I. I asked her what made her decide to follow me and ask about pants. She said I was acting suspicious for walking back and forth throughout the store and said she saw me put a pair of pants under my jacket. (No pants were stolen in this situation) On the day after Black Friday. She also said she was trained to pursue theives. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager arrived and I asked if we could view the camera footage to see where I looked suspicious and put pants under my jacket. The manager said they had no means of viewing such footage. What? I said certainly if you are training employees to pursue thefts, you can look at footage to see if their decisions make sense. The manager assured me they couldn't look at tape. Do better, H&M."

"Selection of items was good but staff was terrible. My husband came up to the employee with short curly hair to ask her a question, but she told him, "you know you could've just asked someone else on the other side of the room instead of coming to me, right?" My husband asked her for help because she was the nearest and the only employee that wasn't busy with anything."

"I expected better of H and M. I knew going in that it would be a store for young people, but didn’t realize that most items would be for people who want to dress immodestly (not that that’s bad, it’s just not for me). There were practically only belly shirts or shirts with deep V necks! I found one regular black t-shirt that would fit the school dress code, and they only had one in a size small which is unfortunate. I then went to go check out my one shirt, and the line was basically out of the store. I waited 30 minutes in that checkout line. The line wouldn’t have been that long if the employees at the counters weren’t lallygagging though. There were three employees at the front counters that were checking people out as slow as they possibly could. One customer had three items and it took the cashier like 10 minutes to check them out. I probably won’t come back."

"I had asked a staff member on the floor if they carried a specific color tie and about a specific brand. His name is Kevin and he was super helpful. He brought me over to the rack to look, he checked his phone, he even suggested another retail store but did state that it was a bargain considering their price for two ties. Kevin was also super helpful with explaining the other brand. When I checked out, I was helped by Jose. He had asked if I was a rewards member and if I had coupons. I had never used coupons through their app before so I was clueless. However, Jose showed me how to look it up and use it. He was patient about it too, no way did I feel rushed. Overall, Kevin and Jose were super helpful and their customer service skills are phenomenal! Keep up the great work!!"
