Penny's Diner

"We used to eat at Penny's Diner about once a week. One of the few places in Glenwood to get good food and have good service. But ever since they switched to forcing guests to order through the QR code and not provide menus, we have not been back. And until it goes back to the old way, we will not return."

"I almost always have the cinnamon roll because they are awesome. I had eaten today already but my husband hadn't. He had the cheese burger and fries. It was done perfectly. He hates when they are dry. Great 50's 60's music. A/c Friendly helpful workers. Kept us refilled. We'll be back as usual."

"What a gem. This chic took the best care of our food and us, remarkable! I only snapped a pic of my meal, unfortunately didn't get my wife's meal, which she loved! The employee on 2/10/24 @ 9am - cares about her job. I would highly recommend this place. This is your classic diner - reminded me a lot like Waffle House, only better!"

"If you don't know what I'm talking about I'll explain. For those that do...... It's the best greasy spoon I have been to in almost 40 years. Now for those that don't understand...... A greasy spoon is a in the corner out of the way mom and pop restaurant. It's small, but has great food. Don't know if there are more Penny's restaurants, but if not there needs to be. Less and less of these around these days. Reminded me of my childhood."
