"Disappointing lunch I saw the Monty Cristo on the menu and was excited to order it . What a disappointment. Two pieces of French toast (looked like they came from a box) with a slice of deli ham and Velveeta cheese. We are here a few weeks ago and loved our breakfast. It's an old fashion dinner. Guess I just have to order old fashion food. I want to like the place and try again."

"The service is super friendly and the portions are more than enough, you won't leave this place hungry! The only thing I wish would have been more notice on the no debit/credit card, and ended up not being able to leave a tip due to lack of excess cash on hand. I even looked on Google and on the windows of the restaurant and didn't see anything indicating they would not be accepting cards. Otherwise, best cafe I've been to in years and will definitely return, more prepared!"

"My daughter and I came in at 2 pm. One waitress was sweeping floor and the other was leaning on counter talking to her and never paid attention to us. Then she got herself some water and was drinking it. Took about 10 minutes before she came. But first she took water to another table that had come in about 5 minutes after us. We were just about to get up and leave when she brought our water. I left a tip but she didn’t deserve it."

"To be completely honest, I will never come back here again. I mean the food was so so. But definitely overpriced. And then this problem was compounded by the fact that the owner's too cheap to accept credit cards, so instead of adding an extra $0.50 to cover the processing fee, they have you run down to the bank and I end up getting knocked $5.50 in Bank fees to pull out cash in order to pay for my food. And if the waitress wasn't so nice and sweet and I wasn't afraid of her having to pay for my breakfast, I probably would have just left without paying at that point. But I wanted to make sure I came back and gave the waitress a tip cuz she earned it."

"Food was very bland, no flavor to anything. Pancakes tasted like they were made ahead of time and just reheated. Went up to pay and was then informed that they only took cash or check. I asked if there was a sign and I was told by waitstaff that they were not allowed to put up a sign. Had to walk over to an ATM. I feel like they don’t want to be upfront about only taking cash or check so that it doesn’t deter people from walking in but guess what? I will not be going back and will not recommend anyone else to either. Very disappointed"
