"My wife purchased a used ps4 from here for my stepson and it turned out to be broken. since she didn't purchase the warranty my stepson is SOL. It didn't even work from the start. Do not do business with these shady people. P.s they have no heart."
"Super Pawn 6540 west indian school rd Phoenix, AZ 85033 It's been almost a year since I had a positive experience at this Super Pawn. For the past 9-10 months I have not had a good experience from all angles. I really used to like this place and their was a young man working here that was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and personable (all qualities that are lacking from employees I've interacted with recently.) But I have had the misfortune of dealing with other employees that are not that friendly. In fact, a couple have been rude by definition. I took some gold to sale about 9 months ago and was offered lower than average price compared to other pawn shops within 10 mile radius..seriously ranked at the bottom as far as what they offered to purchase my gold jewelery for. Within the last year, I had spent a couple thousand here on various items such as jewelry, tools, and electronics. One item of which was a high ticket item and I went to sell it back to them and took a major hit. I regret not holding on to the gold and keeping it or least taking it to another shop, but out of desperation and convenience I chose to accept the below average low ball offer. My last 4 visits here in the last 6 months have not been to purchase anything, as I recently discovered other nearby pawn shops had better items at a more reasonable price. It's a business and I do understand that it's about turning a profit, but there should be a slight flex in prices offered, and I only vaguely remember because it's been so long that this place would give a few bucks more for your item if you asked them, but not lately. My last and most recent trip I had a med tool case with tools plus a couple other hand tools + brand new misc items that complimented the tools. The bag was a little dirty, but still comparable in condition to items currently available in store for purchase. The male employee told me they would pass on my items because they do not purchase loose hand tools and also the condition. The guy didnt even fully unzip the bag and take a good look at what I brought in before he passed on it. And out of desperation, I said that I honestly wasnt expecting much, I really needed a couple dollars to buy dinner. ( I was $2 short for pizza) And I said I would accept anything. I really thought that I would get $5 for it, based on other transactions from past things I had taken in to sell them. But he declined and said that they don't do anything less than $10 on a ticket and I feel very strongly that statement was not true or most likely I ended up scrounging up more items to beef up their offer to make the $10 min ticket...which ultimately meant I got doubly ripped off by selling them more stuff in exchange for very little money. And to be quite honest, with the way that the economy has been, $10 wouldn't have been an absurd amount for them to offer, considering that most of the tools were brand new & unused. I hadn't been here in a couple months and had really hoped that they would restore my poor opinion. I was really disappointed to find that my initial low opinion did not change in a positive manner, it dramatically declined. I think I am also disappointed with myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt and ultimately wasting my time with Hope's high. By the divine intervention, I was luckily able to get dinner that night. If I had solely depended on this place to help me out with just $2, I would have without a doubt gone to bed hungry. I really should have taken items to pawn/ sale here first. I wouldn't have supported them by conducting business. Deeply regret spending a couple grand here. Maybe your experience will be very different than mine. My review is my own and it's based on the last 9-10 months of my first hand experiences. The hope that I had in this place of redeeming itself was based on my positive experiences that were a year + ago. I just don't see any reason for me to give this place any more of my time, goods, or money. I'd be a crazy fool to think any other way."
"Employee just told me I can't make a purchase because I don't have an account again I can't make a purchase because I don't have an account I recorded the conversation for those that might think I.miss understood. So apparently according ro the large female emoyee ots a new policy they don't make sales without id's"

"This place is a joke!!! I would not trust them to go back to them after the experience I just had! I purchased “14 kt gold” earrings at one of their other locations, I took it to this location because it was closest to my house & they turned me away saying that they were fake!! I to work in the Pawn industry and have for the last five years, I know all the methods of testing jewelry. They only used one method which was the magnet and stated that the earrings were fake! I watched the employee do the magnet test and not once did I see the earring stick to the magnet, when I asked him to please test it with the acid and if I could get a retest he declined me. I then asked for a second opinion and asked to speak with the manager which she declined to retest the earrings and then refused to give me her higher up district managers information. If this is the type of business that they run I will never be doing business with them again! They couldn’t even do something as simple as a retest but not only that it is against the law to sell jewelry advertised as pure 14 karat gold and it’s not real! So no matter how you look at the situation they are rude, dishonest, unprofessional, and just glad out untrustworthy! Save your money and your time go to a Pawn 1st or a more reputable pawnshop! Super pawn is in the business of scamming people and it’s clear"
