"We recently hired TMC Customer Pools & Renovations to remodel our 20-year-old swimming pool, and we are thrilled with the results. After getting 4 different bids all within the same price point, we selected TMC as they took the time to meet with us to answer all of our questions during the initial consultation to providing valuable suggestions when selecting our options. The remodel process was smooth and efficient, with the team at TMC completing the project on time and with minimal disruption to our daily routine. We have two large dogs and requested advanced notification which occurred throughout the entire project. The remodel was extensive with new tile, pebble finish, pool pump, deck and relocation of our electrical junction box for our pool light and their work was outstanding. We highly recommend TMC to anyone looking to renovate their swimming pool. Their expertise, professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction is impressive and we would choose them again in a heartbeat."
"We had an absolutely amazing experience with TMC Custom Pools. Mike, Nolan and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, including planning, design, scheduling, construction and warranty. They are extremely personable, conscientious, hard-working, honest and fair, and they delivered an absolutely amazing product. I am so lucky we found them amid the myriad of other pool builders that deliver 5-star service through the design/contract stage, only to flake out and pass you off to someone else for the real stages that matter down the line. Mike stays with you every single step of the way, and it's very reassuring to know you always have someone dedicated to your specific project that you can reach out to to ask questions, raise concerns, etc. This is the true definition of a family business - they say what they mean and they do what they say. I've recommended TMC to a number of different friends and colleagues, all of which have been extremely happy with their results. I'm a customer of theirs for life, and I would recommend them to anyone seeking pool/spa design and construction needs."
"We had a wonderful experience with TMC Custom Pools. They were thoughtful and very educational with helping us pick out our design. They did a wonderful job coordinating with our landscape contractor and everything went smooth. We had our pool installed much faster than friends who were building pools around the same time. I would definitely recommend!"
"The end result is good, the process to get there was incredibly painful. I will give credit where it's due, which is for the early interactions. They were very helpful with initial consultations, talking over design/finish choices, and addressing an early scheduling conflict with another project (which was my fault and they helped address quickly). They were also upfront about schedule starting slow, purely due to a shotcrete shortage. Unfortunately, that's about where the good stops. We were quoted 2-3 months to complete our project, which was for a depth conversion and all new pool equipment. We did extend the scope of the work to include additional automation equipment, new decking/turf, a fire bowl, etc. We added significant work but at no time in any of our emails/texts/conversations did they mention these additions would extend (read: triple) the time to complete the project. With the big hold up being shotcrete it was a fair assumption the rest of this work could be done in parallel or perhaps add a small amount of time. The project ended up taking approximately 9 months to complete. Once the shotcrete was finally completed I was assured the project would get moving and we should make quick progress. The next three months were nothing but updates of "a couple more weeks" to get the decking started. "A couple more weeks" was what I was told, every time I checked-in, for three months. Of course there were no updates other than waiting for the dates they told me to go flying past and then ask for more information. When I politely expressed my frustration with the lack of progress the answer I got was "I am confused by your frustration", "we have all the elements of a new pool and are quoting 6 months for new pools". This was 4 months into our 2-3 month project and the very first time they gave me ANY indication that the timeline would be longer due to the work that was added. I politely told him that all I wanted was communication. Delays happen and if our decisions drove extra time, that's fine, but there is no excuse for not communicating with customers...of course that email went unanswered and there was never any improvement to communication. Work started in July and the pool was filled about 6 months later in January. From there it took a further 3 months+, of literal begging, to get them to come finish the small amount of work that was left. The only excuse I received for the slow progress was a plumber that lied about completing work on our project, who they fired. That problem would have been addressed weeks earlier if there was ANY communication about when work was scheduled to be done OR ANY follow up with the customer. The lack of follow through went down to the very end. Before everything was finished the first of the many brand new parts had already broken. I told them on Friday the part for the auto water level broke, they assured me they'd come out on Monday to replace it. A week and a half later I had to pay my pool service company to replace the parts because, if you can believe it, they failed to do what they said that time too. The project is done now and the pool and yard look great. The results are good, but the 9 MONTHS of stress, headaches, missed schedules, begging for progress and ANY communication were awful. Speaking of communication, there wasn't even so much as a follow up text to see if this plumber actually showed up to do the work."
"We cannot thank TMC Custom Pools enough for the work they performed on our backyard! They were timely, professional, and thorough, and we enjoyed working with Mike and Nolan. We are incredibly grateful for Mike and his team and would recommend TMC Custom Pools to anyone!"
