"The employees at this pool (inside staff and lifeguards) are the least bit personable or friendly. I frequent (daily) in the summer Stapley and Skyline and they are AWESOME! I left my water at home by accident and when I went to the vending machine it only takes $1 bills or change (I had a $5 or I could have done ApplePay but that wasn’t an option either). I was feeling extremely lightheaded from the heat and needed a drink pronto. I went in and asked for change where you pay admission and they refused me change for a water. They said it is in their agreement with the vending company to not give change. I guess someone’s health and safety are not cared about as I was on the edge of passing out. They would rather risk calling emergency crews if someone faints than to give change to one person for water. I highly recommend staying away from this location!!!!"
"Rhodes gets a one star today. Normally we are happy here. However today I spent over $60 for only 4 to enjoy the pool and flow rider. I couldn’t use a locker. I didn’t know to bring a lock and I get that it is my responsibility but I was planning to pay for a locker and they don’t have any other solutions for anyone to store their wallet, medicine and phones etc. Then I wanted a bottled water and I had dry dollar bills for their vending machine and it clearly doesn’t work and the office doesn’t give change so that I could buy a water from their vending machine. Not even a one star. Fortunately, I didn’t die of thirst because there was a drinking fountain, but I think in Arizona if I can’t buy water or store my valuables so I can actually enjoy the pool then what is the point of ever returning. It doesn’t seem worth it."
"Flow rider is a great experience for kids and adults of all skill levels. The lifeguards are patient, kind and helpful. Rhodes pool has lots of different options for kids of all ages to stay active and cool. Highly recommend a visit!"
"This pool is noteworthy for the waterboarding area. It also features diving boards, a play area with water fun, and a decent amount of deck space with picnic tables. There are two lap lanes of 25 yards. The pool is family friendly and the water temperature was appropriate for a community pool. Locker room was clean."
"The FlowRider is the main attraction here and is lots of fun, but I think its over priced to rent out the facility over other pools that are much bigger than this facility."
