"The first Native-owned and operated store in Old Town Scottsdale! I *implore* you to spend your time and money here first before going to other nearby stores, even if they sell copycats. The products in this store are handmade by indigenous people in the Arizona community. You will see the artists' picture and read some of their stories throughout the store. Profits are directly deposited to the artist. On the day that I visited, there were two different local artists tabling as well as a performer dancing/singing live. The store has only been open for two years, but they have recently won Business of the Year award and rightfully so! Products are of quality and the people are the warmest that I met during my time in Arizona (which is saying a lot since most people here are friendly). I drove about 30 minutes just to shop at this one store, and it was totally worth it for everything that this shop is about: community, culture, creative expression, empowerment, love.
