"This is a public service announcement. So many of you in Sunland Village have posted wonderful things about the work performed by “Tito and Tony’s.” I believed the hype and now I am deeply regretting hiring him more than a year ago to convert a room and to add a patio and another room. Tens of thousands of dollars later, and many, MANY weeks and months of him never coming back to finish or start the work he was hired to do, I fired him! I have now had to hire someone else to fix the numerous unfinished items Tito "never got to" and to fix the many things he did wrong! These are just some of the items left in Tito's wake: 1. Stucco work he did had cracks in it less than 4 months after install. 2. He claimed to "fix it" but he used a different color stucco so now all of the stucco needs to be repainted! Oh, and the "repair" job on the stucco was not done properly so the wall juts out unevenly. 3. The roof on the less than 1 year old "room addition and patio cover" leaks!! 4. The way he joined the existing roof to the new roof of the addition was to simply flap the shingles over the addition and not nail/tack them down. 5. The posts for the new patio cover were put directly into the dirt. Needless to say, they are already beginning to rot! The post that is supposed to be attached to the wall is twisted and there is a gap between the post and the wall. If left unrepaired, this will serve as an open door for termites and moisture (mold)! 6. Plumbing for the new sink in the room addition and on the outdoor BBQ were not properly installed, nor were sprinklers for the new lawn. The numerous sprinklers literally drowned the lawn! A new sprinkler system, with proper drainage, and a new lawn now need to be installed. There are other problems as well ——all documented with video and photographs. Unfortunately, I was too trusting and Tito took advantage of this and the fact I wasn't able to oversee all that he was doing…..or, in many cases, NOT doing! The day i called him to tell him his "services" were no longer needed, he had the nerve to ask for more money!!! HAH!! I wonder how many other residents of Sunland Village have been taken advantage of by Tito?! Just a reminder: he is not licensed or bonded."
