"This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. about the Lead tech thing. he was just as clueless as the first guy. In fact, he was the reason for the second call due to poor wiring causing a short. They don't have the skills to troubleshoot properly, so they just keep replacing parts until they get lucky. We have been without heat, in a 1 yr old home, for two weeks. They took the system down and now we cannot get an ETA for repairs. But if you complain about the service, they wont take your calls and pass you to the builder.(weak customer service lead) They told the Builder, "Parts were installed and everything is working. Just a flat out lie. System is still not functioning. They left grease marks on the attic door and their old truck left oil in front of the house. Typical of this company to automatically blame the manufacturer. You purchased, inspected, installed and did the startup. Own it. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN!"
"Chas Roberts you need to do better! Figure out if you have a training issue with your installers! If you are going to be the primary provider for builders in the AZ area, you need to get your act together and make sure these installers are doing their jobs right the first time around and not wasting time and money for calls to fix a bad install and bad units! Me along with many others moved into our newly built Beazer homes over the summer and I know of at least 8 of us on our cul-de-sac street alone, for a fact, that as soon as we turned on our heat for the first time with it getting chillier out, our heaters did not work. Every single one of us had to submit a case with Beazer and have Chas Roberts come out and fix our HVACs. The Beazer customer service rep even told me he came from another builder and they had the same issues using Chas Roberts so this is a common issue he said. They were either not hooked up correctly, the drainage tubes not properly installed, bad parts on a brand new unit, placement of the user manual in the unit not in the correct place to cause a fire hazard, this is just to name some of the issues after neighbors talking to each other about our HVAC issues. In regards to our issue specifically, we made a work order on Monday, the Chas Roberts tech came out that afternoon and had to completely dismantle our whole HVAC unit and put it back together because the user manual had been placed inside the blower area where when it had been turned on initially prior to us even moving in the blower tore the manual to shreds and paper was stuck inside that area. The tech said that was a fire hazard and could have started a fire! He cleaned out all the paper and realized the sensor was broken. He had to order the part and came back 2 more times that week and by Friday we had a working unit. He replaced the sensor along with a couple more parts when he realized the sensor wasn't the issue. After 3 parts replaced and it still not working, the same tech said the only other part that he hadn't replaced was the mother board. That part had to be ordered so on Friday he replaced the board and that was the issue for it not firing and working. We did appreciate his persistence to get our HVAC up and working and clearing out all the paper that could have caught our house on fire. That terrified us that if the HVAC unit had been working and the paper being in there a fire could have started in our brand new home. This is not acceptable or good business working with builders. Be Better! There's so many more homes to be built just in our neighborhood alone and I don't want the next homebuyer to experience the same issues as those of us on our cul-de-sac street have had to deal with recently with the weather changing and turning on the heat for the first time."
"Installed our HVAC in 2016. It has had a leak 3 times due to a terrible install. They used an aluminum line set to a copper unit. The metals react and corrode causing a leak in the same spot every 2 years. Our entire neighborhood has the same issue and Chas Roberts is doing nothing to fix the issue."
"We got back from a weekend trip to find our AC was completely dead. Called about 1130 PM to request a scheduler to call in the morning. At 617 the next day a a scheduling called and got us an appointment that day. Craig came out and totally took care of us and we're back up and running. A really good experience and will happily give our business back to them in the future."
"I had a problem with my furnace and called Charles Roberts to have it repaired. This was on a Friday pm. I was expecting to have to wait till the next week, with Christmas on Tuesday I could be stuck for a week or more. Instead, the dispatch lady assured me that a technician would be here yet tonight. Clayton arrived at 6:30 pm, as promised. He diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes, or less, and fixed it within an hour. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They are great, and I really appreciate the service they gave me, as I live in Sahuarita, probably 50 miles or so from their headquarters. Great outfit with competent and caring employees."
