"High quality service for a fair price. washer has worked great but it must be 35+years old. It has multiple problems but was fixed and now runs great! Owning a high quality washer and then spending on repairs to make it last decades is worth it. Don’t be like these clowns thinking they will spend peanuts for quality service and parts, and you will be happy with the quality service!"

"OMG I wish I was smart enough to had read the “Progressive Refrigeration and Appliance” Company reviews. That “company” is also coupled/owned with/ by “Appliance Repair Parts”. I have never had the occasion to receive such dishonest “service”. Allen initially represented that the service charge was to be $79 then suddenly when I gave my address it became $99 because of the “distance”; a mere 5.9 mies. That alone should tell you all you need to know. I won’t go into all the details but one telling documented aspect was he placed a thermometer in my freezer for less that 3 minutes and informed me that my unit was operating 12 degrees warmer than it should be or registering 12 degrees on his thermometer. This was regardless of the control panel reading the appropriate zero degrees. He said I needed a new fan motor, a vacuuming, etc. for $687. After he left I put a thermometer in the freezer and it read to the manufacturers spec of zero degrees. Someone has to stop this scam operation. I suggest everyone, as have I, file a complaint with The Arizona Registrar of Contractors, the Arizona Attorney Generals Office, the BBB and file a small claims action. The owner can write his standard denial as if he is always right and polite and the customer is always wrong, stupid and can’t discern a scam when they see one. His standard response is something akin to: “I'm sorry that our service call + parts, and their associated costs, does not cover the extra work you wanted. Thank you for your input. Best regards, Service Manager” Regardless, if even responds, don’t believe a single word such as “I’m sorry my thermometer must have been malfunctioning.” He knows that part of the entire interaction was recorded. Sorry Allen you can fool some of the people all the time but not all the people all the time."

"My fault not reading reviews, always trying to help and send business to local small companies . I can assure you Allen runs a scam ,I stopped in person to ask about a couple of cooler issues we had with coke machine and cooler Allen was here 30min talking about things for 25 of those about everything from he needs to redo electrical in building ( by the way was redone two years ago by a certified electrical company ) So from needing electrical redone, 2k for another unit for something that is worth half of that . 750.00 to add freon and dye and see where leak is .. only item I seen him use was a flashlight . you owe me 198.00 for nothing but me talking, also told me he came out of his way to rush over and after hours ? . Our business lets clients know before we start anything there is a change for this or that up front . beware read 1.3 star reviews for this guy he should not still be in business doing stuff like this , BEWARE READ FIRST !!! MY fault please be warned stay far away .."

"Reporting following information to the Better Business Bureau. My roommate and I purchased a dryer in May. Tried to negotiate with Allen for a lower price, And his response was that if I could pay cash he would waive the taxes for me and my roommate. Went across the street to Wells Fargo got cash and came back paid for the unit. Allen made no mention of us waiving the one-year warranty for accepting our cash payment that was not inclusive of taxes. After a couple of short months the apparent quality of Allen’s work came to light with our dryer catching fire and torching the back half of our laundry room. I reached out to see if Allen would be able to help me in anyway and of course records of the transaction were removed and Allen told me that unless I could provide a receipt I was basically SOL. Unfortunately for Mr. Allen I was uncomfortable that he was talking about bypassing paying taxes and so I decided to record the entire conversation on my phone."

"From start to finish my experience was horrible! Their technician Allen was sent to my house and he was rude unprofessional and a LIAR. He was even smoking vape in my house while working on my fridge with out even asking. My refrigerator stopped working but the freezer part still worked. He quoted me 275 to fix it. After he worked on it for a hour NOTHING on my fridge was working now. A few days later he told me it was going to be much more than the quoted price. When I was given the quote I was told if they went over that price I could cancel the order and get my money back. Of course when I tried to cancel because they went way over the quote Allens story changed and he would keep the 275 regardless even though he told both me and my father separately I would get my money back if it was over the quoted price and wanted to cancel. He then tried to blame the fridge costing more to fix because the inside of my house was "hot" and that's why it broke... after arguing with them they agreed to refund my money. However they lied again saying we would get a full refund but instead of the full 275 back they gave me 140. Now there dodging my phone calls. So if you want a company that smokes in your house, breaks your stuff, lies to you, hides from you when you try to contact them and if you like to waste time in small claims court progressive refrigeration and appliance company is the place for you."
