"For preventive maintenance of a tankless water heater, they quoted $420.00. I was expecting average price between $150 to $250. Told them NO! Then Al demanded a trip fee of $100.00. Told them no. As they returned to their truck and my garage door was closing they yelled a better price. Did more negotiation. Got a better but still unsatisfactory quote. They did the service of draining, chemical soak, and flushing satisfactorily. In retrospect, I should have let the garage door close & called a different plumber. I regret selecting Rootin Tootin plumbing for service. REVISION: I was contacted by Andrew of Rootin Tootin & given an opportunity to discuss my review. We negotiated a modest refund adjustment. I failed to include the free TV inspection of the interior of my main sewage line which had also been performed. And he pointed out the average cost of $150-$250 was a national average & not just Tucson. Also, we discussed the cost involved in travel time, chemicals used, and wait times. With the refund, I have decided to remain a customer for future needs. I will, however, discuss cost of a service call, cost by hour of services, and return time (portal to portal). One, two or three estimates might be a good idea. With past estimates, I have not always chosen the cheapest bid & that practice is applicable here. Best regards to all involved."

"Our shower was not draining and after speaking with a polite dispatcher, Hiram came to the rescue approximately 90 min later. He was polite, prepared with all the necessary equipment, was very thorough explaining his work, and was able to fix the issue. Cost wise they are well worth it!"

"Pros: Amazing service. I filled out the online inquiry at 6:30 am and received a call back at 8:00 am. The representative was very nice and the plumber Hiram was awesome as well. My garbage disposal stopped working a few months ago. I poured drain cleaner and scrubbing powder down the drain but nothing helped. Unfortunately, it sat there for months due to a family emergency. So by the time I arrived home, this was my first priority. I was so excited to receive same day service. In addition, Hiram cleaned out my sink, cleaned the pipes, and installed a new disposal. He was quick too. He made sure my property was not damaged and everything worked amazingly. I’m so happy to have found this plumbing company. Con’s: None!
