"My mom’s chihuahua got sick and there was nothing we could have done to help make her better. We were treated kindly and the service to have them put down my moms pet was affordable. They were very professional and caring. I recommend this place."
"My name is Fatima. I took my dog Dino (12 years old, 14 lbs) here last Tuesday for a check up and for a nosebleed concern. They ran lab work on him and I was told he had a kidney infection and his liver was not doing well, enzymes levels were high. Dr. Santibanez prescribed medication for his liver along with amoxicillin 250mg twice a day for his infection. He also gave me an estimate for IV infusions that had to be done for three consecutive days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and I proceeded because I trusted him and wanted Dino to be well. I went in Wednesday for them to do the first IV infusion with antibiotics (penicillin 100mg) and vitamin B complex. Before they started I asked if that was not too much antibiotic for him, because he was already having 500mg of amoxicillin total a day at home as well. They said he was going to be fine. And again I trusted them because they’re the professionals there. Saturday, Dino was still eating but much less and he seemed very tired. I thought he was just overwhelmed and tired with everything he was going through. Sunday, he didn’t want to eat anything I forced some food because he couldn’t be taking medications on an empty stomach, but he was still drinking some water. Monday same thing. Tuesday he seemed a bit better but dizzy and not wanting to get up to go potty. I was carrying him out anyways and he would stand there for a little bit and then pee. Tuesday, he was walking a a little bit in our back yard laid under the sun for a few minutes but he still seemed tired. I gave him water with syringe and some food, gave him his medicine and just let him rest for the evening. Wednesday, today was supposed to be his follow up with the Dr. Santibanez to check his blood work again and compare the results from last week. That didn’t happened I was woken up by a noise this morning at 1:19 am just to witness Dino’s last breath. I went crazy I didn’t know what to do, could not believe he was gone. I took a stethoscope that I have at home to find a heartbeat or something but there was nothing I could do. He just lasted a week after we were at this clinic, I am heartbroken, I feel guilty he was fine, happy he was eating going to the bathroom just fine and a week later he is gone. I don’t know if that was too much antibiotics or fluids for a small dog. But I am upset at the fact that the doctor is the only veterinarian there, he gets busy overwhelmed and he might not know entirely what is going on with all of his patients and owners as individuals. I have not even gone there after what happened to Dino, I know they’re not or Dr. santibanez is not going to take responsibility or accountability. I just hope they’re sorry and they pay more attention to what they’re doing. As owners we are responsible to advocate for our babies. This was my experience and I hope it can help someone that is going through something similar."
"I don’t know how this place only has three stars. They treat there animals as their own family if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have my dog all other vets wanna charge you an arm and a leg. They are very reasonable I don’t know how they make money when they charge as little as they do. If you want your animals to be loved and cared for bring them here you won’t regret it! - Regina Verdugo"
"Been coming here for years. Love the care they provide to my pets. It’s an affordable place to get shots and my experience here has been nothing but positive. The reviews here do not reflect the quality care that Dr. Santis provides to pets. I’ve been to several vet offices, and there’s a reason why I trust bringing them here and refer anyone who is looking for a vet to Santis. Staff is always wonderful and knowledgeable as well."
"Recently, took my English bulldog to have a c-section. Surgery went well, the doctor was informative, professional & straightforward. He delivered 8 healthy pups. Our girl is thriving & has been healing well. Thankful and grateful we found a reliable doctor. The follow up appts have gone good. This place gets really busy and stays busy from what I’ve witnessed. But thankfully we didn’t have to wait much since we had appts & arrived on time. Our experiences with the staff & Dr. have been positive. Thank you to all who cared for our girl."
