"My family has been going to them for years. Personal service and attention to detail. Cant go wrong with A1."
"I absolutely recommend A 1 Watch. They are wonderful service folks who share their expertise and skills to meet your needs. It was very worth my longer drive to save a lot on watch battery replacements and band adjustments. Thank you, A 1!"
"Absolutely atrocious!! There are way better option within 5 mile radius. The woman answering their phone is beyond rude and uncaring. She will speak to you with an arrogant tone and obviously hates her life. David the owner didn’t even bother to take a second and listen to what our issue was. Instead his answer was “it’s the battery” when anybody with half a brain cell could see the watch was ticking. So that would have been impossible. If you want arrogance and hostility this is the place for you."
"Very knowledgeable about watches and clocks. They fixed my Winterthur gear clock at a very reasonable price. I have been there before and gotten great service on my watches."
"brought in to see what A-1 would advise. David said he could take a look and would be ext careful not to leave any scratches on the screws or anything else that would void my warranty if I ended up sending it in. The watch was a birthday present to myself and I was able to pick the number for the series of a limited edition (300 pieces) and I picked the last two numbers of my birth year and David noticed and I explained. He seemed to take it on as a personal challenge to fix it for me because of that, repeating several times that he would leave no trace of being inside the watch and he would search the internet for the needed part and get it fixed for me. I left the watch there with that understanding. I called back about three weeks later to see how it was going but the woman who answered the phone told me to leave my name and number and watch brand and they would call me back. No one called me back. I called again two weeks later and same thing, again left name and number, no call back. I called again about ten days later and spoke to David and told him who I was and asked if he was able to get the part and he had no recollection whatsoever of me leaving the watch, the serial number thing, that he took it as a challenge to get the part and fix it and that he would leave no trace of being inside the watch if he didn't. He said he would check on it and call me back. No call back. Finally I just went in when I had an afternoon off. He handed me my watch, apologized for not being able to find the part and fix it, said no charge, warmly shook my hand and wished me good luck with it. So I sent in to Singapore for warranty repair and guess what? Warranty voided because there was lots of evidence that the watch had been opened and some internal mechanism was messed up by an attempted repaint. $150 to fix plus parts plus I assume the full return shipping costs. My bad for not just sending it there in the first place, I never should have gone to a watch repairman, but he should have known he wouldn't be able to pull off leaving no trace of being in the watch."
