"Actually no stars here, could not post it without giving him a star! I would highly recommend avoiding this contractor at all costs. While some of his other reviews were positive in terms of the quality of the work and customer service on the part of several employees, Eric is an abject failure as a licensed contractor. We tried to use him for a simple project that we wanted done quickly. He could not give us an estimate for a start date until we gave him a deposit. After cashing our check, he began avoiding calls for updates, gave us possible dates for beginning and in general just abandoned the project. I finally dropped in on him unannounced and he did not remember who I was. I requested a refund and he was going to send it to us the following week. As expected, no refund and we filed a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors. He was eventually cited, suspended for a few days as a contractor, and then he sent us a refund. All and all, a very unpleasent experience."

"Eric is a very pleasant guy to work with. And he did very good work--WHEN he did it. But he didn't finish, left much finishing detail incomplete and wouldn't respond for weeks to phone calls and texts and emails. Eventually he texted that "I'm sorry. I am a slacker..things are falling through the cracks...I'll fix ASAP". But he didn’t. Eventually we hired someone else to do the work, and requested a refund of the $1500+ we had ALREADY PAID HIM for that portion of the job. He refused to refund it. He admitted in writing that such practices have left him “many disgruntled clients”. Until he learns to put the client first and adopt good customer relations, I recommend if you do use him, you don’t make the final payment until all agreed upon work is completed. Don’t make the same mistake we did."
