"I was at this hospital for 2 days nobody ever came to my room to check on me I have to say this is the worse hospital I have ever been to the nurses are no where to be found they don't answer when you push the call button never offer me water nothing when ask when I was going to have surgery they told me I don't know in fact they didn't even put a wrist band on me until this morning and I got there yesterday at 12noon n no wrist band until this morning at 9am by far the worse hospital I have ever been to so bad I left without getting surgery"
"Please think before you opt for emergency care. My experience here is very horrible and surprising. Went to hospital on June 3rd 2021 for stomach pain around 6:30 AM . Reception took time to complete formality and doctor came very late to see me almost 30-40 min later when they took me to emergency care room. They did blood , urine work and ultrasound by which concluded that I have a kidney stone. Doctor prescribed medicine and out of hospital around 1 and half hour. They charged around $30 k to insurance and ~3300 for my pay after I paid $598 at admission. Experience turned worst when I started a constipation on next day. Called to hospital early morning next day June 4th - did not received response so drive to hospital reception and asked query. Asked them to give over counter response to my question but they did not do so and took me to Emergency room even though there was no emergency at all. They did not put any emergency equipment and I was just seated on bed to wait for doctor. When doctor came they realize constipation is occurring because of prescription given earlier day. They prescribed over the counter medicine for this. They asked to sign document. I was literally surprised even though no emergency they took me emergency room and again charged emergency room charges but did not considered that they haven’t provided any side effect of medicine on first day. If so I could not even go to hospital for constipation question. I totally frustrated the way they handle me and looking at amount and treatment did not went for follow up or even did not think for other hospital even though Was in pain for next 15 day. Do respect hospitals but Suggest AVOID Emergency in this hospital if you can."
"My experience as a patient here is horrible! Been here two day and on day two to no body came to my room to check on me. Wasn’t give chance to have breakfast nor was I give pain meds I asked for. I had bawel movement, called for a nurse to help me nobody came. Was force to use a pad that you put down for puppies to use after sitting there for 30 min cause my legs when going to sleep. More time went by as I’m calling for a nurse still no one came. I kept calling for someone to come, no one did. At this point I’m laying in bed with bawel waste in my room until me mother arrived. Still no nurse or meds. Took 40 min for a nurse to come to my room after my mother had to complain 2 times. Hour goes by and they put me in a different room with actual bathroom. I don’t see a nurse again or Dr again till about 2pm. They explain what is to come for today. About 430pm 11/20/2021 nurse Jul come in to give me more meds and explains what I have already had. I indicated to her that I haven’t been given the meds they said they gave me. I processed to argue about what I had, and tells me to chill out. Jul Says she spoke to Loren and she indicated she gave me certain meds which weren’t IV. I ask to speak with her because I haven’t seen a nurse by the name of Loren. I asked to speak to floor manager because meds were being fabricated in my chart and was told I can’t speak with him. I don’t know what professional conduct they operated on but I felt that is unexceptionable. Worst hospital experience of my life. I wouldn't recommend anyone to bring anybody here you care about. If quality and patient care mean something to you this hospital is way be low what standard should be ."
"Pros of this location for Abrazo - they have EXCELLENT Nursing/PT/Admin staff, registration, and they work as a team. CONS - their case work staff is VERY disappointing! I would have given the nursing staff 5 stars, but case work staff needs to get their act together. From the day that the case workers assistant spoke with me to today: they only order 1 out of 3 things that I was told that he needed that came from PT staff upon the day that he was released - they hurried and ordered the 2nd item but I took care of it on my own; the Home Health Care orders were not in notes and then they finally ordered Monday after his release, that is supposed to happen the day he is released. Then they did a blanket request for this order out to every organization in the valley so we had so many phone calls it got super confusing who was doing what. Because of all these home health organizations calling, they concurred that this particular Abrazo Hospital Case Work staff is not the best. It's already stressful enough to have a loved one that is elderly and making sure you're not missing a step in the process to have them not be as efficient is a terrible service to patients, the rest of the hospital staff as well as those that are extended working staff to help patients get healthy."
"I was recently in Abrazo for 3 days for high and very stubborn blood pressure and heart problems, ( I have heart disease). The staff was amazing, helpful, caring and proffesional. The nurses, doctors ect, had a very hard time lowering my BP, only because that's how my BP is not because of them., they tried everything. Then I had a nurse by the name of Saysha walk into my room. Im telling you, when a nurse takes the time to sit with you one on one, find out what your health problem is, and works on it like you're the only patient? You know you're in good hands. Not only did she treat me like a good friend but guess what? SHE was able to get my BP to drop, right where it should be and a little more. She sat, listened, and found a way. Abrazo, you have one amazing nurse there. If you have rewards for nurses, please please give her all. Thank you Abrazo and thank you Saysha."
