Camelback Post-Acute Care and Rehabilitation

"Would not recommend this facility to anyone who cares about their loved ones. My father was admitted here after a hip surgery for rehabilitation and was ignored for help several times not including the times he needed to relieve Himself .several tiimes. The staff is non attentive 70 percent of the time and don't return calls as promised. Called a few times and was too they would switch me over to someone who knew the case only to get hung up ononand called back to hear they were at lunch."

"Not a good experience. Majority of nursing staff very nice. The environment is awful, needs lots of updating. My mother was there post surgery for a hip fracture and we requested a transfer the same day. The social services and nursing director staff were not helpful at all, didn't return calls regarding our care concerns. Unfortunately I can't recommend this facility for anyone. Not sure how they would have a 5 star rating."

"In late 2023, my 90 year old aunt spent 5 1/2 weeks at this facility. We were very happy with the treatment and therapy she received and definitely recommend them! The staff treated her with great respect, as if she were family. If she needed anything they made sure she got it. I can't say enough about Camelback Post-Acute Care and Rehab. A1 in my book!"

"Listen to the reviews! Do not bring your loved one here !! Picking out a place for your loved one to get the care they need is scary. It’s nerve racking and stressful. I really wanted to give this place a shot. I wanted to like them, I wanted to give them a good review. After getting my mom in here after she had a stroke, I only wanted what was best for her. It was tricky because she got transferred over from the hospital on the weekend. There was NO one around to help me and my brother get my mom settled in. The man who transferred my mother from the hospital ( worked for a different company) was total jerk. My brother and I are already nervous and scared seeing our mother like this and this guy could care less and no one at the rehab center made us feel any better. When we get to the rehabilitation center there was no one to talk to. No one showed us around … NOTHING. I can’t talk bad about everyone at this place because I met a lot of really awesome people who worked there. They were tying their best but the way this place is ran is horrible. My brother came back the next day to check in on mom. Her room was an absolute mess. Food from her feeding tube was all over the floor and just left there. She had been neglected for a long time… Seeing and hearing this made us feel very unsure about where we had put our mother. I came back during the week and saw that there was a lot more people on staff and it seemed like a decent place to be. The staff was kind to my mom and the therapist were great with her too. I was starting to feel a lot better. After a couple days of being at the rehab center my mom had to go back to the hospital for chest pains. They immediately cleaned out my moms room right away and gave it to a new patient! Even though while we were doing the paperwork they said they would hold my moms spot for 12 days. We have no idea where any of her belongings are or how we are going to get any of her stuff back. If you call this place no one ever picks up the phone. I have never been able to talk to anyone who is “in charge” of this place. All I have to say is , save yourself the stress. Don’t bring a loved one here … listen to the reviews ."
