"I went to see Dr. Waldeck Charles as a new patient when my insurance changed. He was also to be refilling my medications. He decided to prescribe a new medication I din't ask for and turned out to be contraindicated due to a current diagnosis. I told him about my diagnosis and asked about any contraindications and he said "no problem". When I got home I verified this drug then called his office. I asked the secretary to have him call me, explaining the problem with the drug he prescribed. He never returned my call but instead called my pharmacy, cancelling a refill of a long standing prescription he was to be refilling yet leaving the prescription he prescribed that I couldn't take. He never did return my call. Aside from all this he was very difficult to understand; several times I had to ask him to write down what he was saying. I would never recommend this dr. to anyone. If asked I would suggest them seeing someone else."
