Carondelet Medical Group - St. Joseph's Plaza

"Got there, construction, no signage indicating where medical offices were located or where to park (that I saw from where I entered complex). Tried calling office numerous times to find out where I needed to go. Stopped at 2 diff information desks to get directions. Also asked "info" desk to PLEASE try to call since office since it appeared all calls are left to go to VM in hopes she had a "back office # or such as I wanted them to know I was there & just trying to find the office...., Was 5 mins late although there was a line to but only one person checking in people (another person did come about 5 mins later to help). By the time I got to check in I was now 15 mins late. I explained I had tried to call (and would be happy to show when and number of times) but it appears no one answers the office phone and all calls go to VM Then had issue of not having disk of previous X-rays. Told when I scheduled appt I only had paper report and was told paper was not acceptable (didn't want old X-rays anyway as the report contradicted other X-ray reports). Asked why this would be an issue as wouldn't they do their own X-rays - was told I wasn't SCHEDULED for X-rays...I have never gone to orthopedic office for similar issues where the FIRST thing they did was X-rays!!! How can a comprehensive evaluation for knee replacement be done without X-rays. ESPECIALLY when its to determine if and what treatment options, including surgery??? Was then told I would have to reschedule. I declined - not happening. First impressions are powerful and this one wasn't good..."

"Had a planned c section on February 7th with Dr. Sen. Medical team was AMAZING! Anesthesiologist was AMAZING! They calmed my nerves so well, and took awesome care of me and baby, as well as dad! The after care nurses were absolutely wonderful. I only had one nurse I didn’t like the whole time I was there as she kept pushing formula, but all other nurses were extremely encouraging and helpful. Lactation nurses were great, I saw two of them. The hospital was super great and accommodating for any and all of my wishes. Not overbearing at all. My only complaints were that one nurse, and the hospital policy of not allowing my 6 year old son to come in after, that was super annoying, and wish I would have been told before hand. However, I definitely will come to this hospital for my next baby♥️"

"My husband and I both saw a provider at Carondolet CMG who we were encouraged to see as she needed to create her patient roster. This provider (who started the week we saw her in mid Feb) left within two months after our annual Physical. The practice didn’t notify us our primary care provider left, and when we called in to get prescriptions we need urgently filled (and they have our new records) they told us we’d have to come in again to see a new provider (rather than assign us to a new provider automatically) and the earliest appointment was late July. This place is a joke. And doesn’t understand patient care. Unless you’re desperate and can’t find another doctor go somewhere else that actually understands good patient care."

"The reception/check in staff were friendly & helpful. The doctor & EKG Dept. were both super. The waiting area was packed with people. Although all were wearing masks it was difficult to stay 6 ft. apart."

"Received surprise bill for around $100 after receiving services and paying all bills. Where else do you go and get services, only to have them ask for more money after the fact? Add that to the fact that I never really got closure on what I went in for. I would not recommend this place."
