"Waste of money and wouldn’t recommend. I recently got diagnosed with Disaccharide Intolerance and was referred by my GI doctor. I met with Jordan who was nice but unprepared. He admitted he hadn’t looked at any of my paperwork because it was 14 pages, which turned out to only be 7 and then still tried to make a big deal out of 7. Is it really that hard to go through 7 pages!?! He went through the food list that ended up being the same list as the doctor went through with me. I asked him about vitamins because I read to work closely with a dietician since you can become deficient in such a restricted diet. He did a couple searches with no luck and told me to ask a Pharmacist because there were too many vitamins for him to know. You’re also suppose to work out an elimination diet and then reintroduce to see if you can tolerate some sugars in small amounts, so I ask him and he pretty much just repeats back what I said without making some game plan with me. He said I would just have to see since it’s not like they knew my enzyme levels, which I corrected him that we did ( if he had looked at my paperwork!) and pulled out my lab results and showed him. He said that the anxiety mind therapy he had recommended might not work with such deficiencies. I didn’t think about it until afterwards but I think he may have thought it was all in my head or a mental issue until I showed him the lab results. The only useful info I got that I hadn’t read about was that some fruits have sugar alcohols which I also have a hard time with, so my already limited food list just got smaller. I was trying to be positive as I left but got really upset the more I thought about it. The appointment is between $200-$300 and I didn’t get any useful information to help me prepare meals and make sure I’m getting all my nutrients. They should not be taking patients with my condition if they are this incompetent. When I made the appointment I asked who would be the most knowledgeable about my condition and I was told Jordan. If he’s the best, it’s pretty pathetic. Save your money and research online and DIY it because you won’t find much help here!"
"Overall my appointment with Nicole Fellows, PA, was a positive experience, but despite her high praise for the things that I am doing well, I went away with something of a disappointment at the emphasis she made on what I am "not" doing. Instead of leaving highly motivated to get into strength training, dietary adjustments and continuing cardio and strength training, I went away feeling more failure than motivation. I will continue to pursue healthy choices, but the visit was at least somewhat disheartening."
"The Live Well Center is truly a place where one will find the healing, confidence and skills to lead a healthy and productive life! The Instructional Staff is more than capable of helping you reach whatever your goal may be. I myself was able to increase my range of motion, strength and balance in only one month of diligence and good, old fashioned hard work! Give them a call today!"
"Brooke Kudelka has already made a great impression on me so far. We'll be improving my nutrition and she's been easy to work with and listens to everything I say, something I can't appreciate enough."
"Doctor Jordan Bentley is an incredible human and dietitian. He said all the things that I needed to hear for my well being. He had options for me for a healthy diet that will help my autoimmune disease and pre-diabetes. Doctor Bentley doesn’t come off as snooty and I didn’t feel pressured. Thank you so much for my visit!"
