"Such a bad experience dealing with the billing department at Phoenix Children's Medical Group eye specialist unit. They has no domain knowledge and no clue what they are doing with regards to insurance claims, medical code used, etc. I strongly suggest anyone do NOT use their service."
"I am unable to talk with anyone from billing over the phone. I called the phone number on my bill and get placed on hold right away. I've called 4 times over several days and have waited on hold, for collectively, 95 min! I don't know what my bill is for, the description of services provided is in abbreviations and internal code."
"Phoenix Children's Medical group has terrible billing personnel. I received double the bill for seeking medical help on a holiday. My pediatrician's office was closed and also all the urgent cares near me. I had to no choice to go to Phoenix Children's. The doctor only saw my child for three minutes and didn't even answer all my questions. How can you make the right assessment in three minutes? I requested information about the bill since my initial bill only to receive no answer from the billing department. I left messages no one returned my call. I finally spoke with a billing representative and she was rude. When I requested a supervisor she made me feel stupid. I was truly shocked when they said a supervisor will call me in 24 hours, yet no one called back. Next thing I know they sent my account to collections. Their website talks about financial assistance, it is all a scam. Billing personnel incompetent to do their job or answer questions, let alone return a phone call."
