"Dr was rude. Do yourself a favor and keep looking, I'm sure that there are plenty of kind dermatologists out there."
"Horrible experience. The most unprofessional dermatologist office I have ever seen. Not only are they rude but they scheduled an appointment for me and when I arrived after my 1 hour drive, I was told by Tatiana, the Aesthetician, that the front office lady made a huge mistake with the scheduling and that I didn't have an appointment after all. What a waste of time and gas. By far the quality of the staff is the worst I've ever seen and I will never again go see Dr. Adriana Holy. Do not go here. Mistakes on their end and rude and incompetent office staff."
"I have had the pleasure of being under Dr Holy's care for almost 2 years. I have a pretty severe case of AMS that has taken me to the Mayo Clinic, the University of Washington, and other specialists for care over the last 20 years. The care I have received under Dr Holy has been equal, and at times has exceeded, the care I have received from any world class facility. I never feel rushed (as I did at Mayo) and Dr Holy takes the time to answer any questions I may have and offers solutions that best fit my situation. I will be relocating out of state soon to the east coast and will continue to fly back and see Dr Holy every 3 months for my routine checkups. That is how highly I think of her, her staff, and the care they render. You feel like family from the time you walk in the door. Very rare in today's highly impersonal world. Do not hesitate to contact Dr Holy for your needs. You will be glad you did."
"Took me right on time. Saw PA Amanda who was pleasant knowledgeable courteous and professional! Took care of me very well and sent me on my way!!"
"I am extremely disappointed in the experience I encountered with Dr. Smallwood and the billing of useless services at Dr. Holy's office. Our family of four began seeing Dr. Holy in 2016. Regular skin checks and a few minor procedures but overall had pleasant experiences, with Dr. Holy. Fast forward to our most recent annual skin checks and billing and sadly, we did not have the same experience. Recently, my husband, two children and I went for general, no frills, no issues, annual skin checks and from the moment Dr. Smallwood walked into the room to the moment she left she did not stop talking. Luckily, I had no issues or questions so it was not a big deal. I was not told anything out of the ordinary. We were told to use sunscreen (duh), wear rash guards (duh), use Head and Shoulders (horrible toxic shampoo by the way) on my kid's cradle cap (due to the use of sunscreen and swimming all summer) but otherwise there was nothing specialized with our appointment. To me, the sunscreen and rash guard comments are all a part of the regular conversations a doctor would have with a patient during a dermatologist office visit. I, nor my kids, asked any questions of Dr. Smallwood and as I mentioned, it was a basic, no frills, appointment. Now before me I have bills from Dr. Holy's office where I am being charged for "Preventative Counseling" at $50 for me, my husband, and only one of my kids. When I called Christine, the office manager, to discuss the charges I was told that the "Preventative Counseling" charge is a part of their billing. When I pressed in to see why I am being charged $50, repeatedly, to only be told to wear sunscreen, I was given a very numb response that "it is just what we charge in the industry to tell people to wear sunscreen." I call BS. It was the choice of the office to put that billing code on my account, as well as the account of my other family members. It is unethical for any medical office to charge a "counseling" fee on top of a routine office visit. Has Dr. Holy's office reached a point where hearing common sense skin care routines from the doctor is worthy of an additional charge? Unfortunately, in our case they have and are willing to lose patients as a result. Be aware and look at the bills you receive from this office. They are finding loopholes in the system to try to get more money from insurance companies, and as a result, more money from their patients."
