"Despicable. My wife came in for a hernia operation. First, I was mis-directed by 3 different staff members on where to pick her up. When I finally did pick her up, they quite literally dumped her on me without a smidge of empathy, concern, or willingness to assist her getting into the vehicle (she is still doped from the anesthesia) COME TO FIND OUT from her the next day after she sobered up, she tells me how demanding and rude the nurses were. The nurses rushed her out the door, gave little time to recover, and as she’s struggling to even speak and tell them she’s in pain and can’t move, they blow her off anyway, forcing her to sit up and stand, walk and etc. despite her extreme discomfort and inability to express it. I am disgusted at the treatment she received, and the inability for visitors to see loved ones after surgery. More than likely it’s to cover up this blatant malpractice going on. AVOID THIS PLACE"
"I’m speech for cancer patient who is out on her own trying to make it to my appointments so I could survive. When I got there, one of the nurses told me that I have to figure out a way to bring somebody with me because they’re not able to help me go to and from the restroom she said they are too busy. If I had anybody to go with me, they would have came along that day. The nurse really made me cry. I struggled to and from rides and I figured since they were a cancer center that they would help provide this cause I was told that they would, and everything that was told to me has not happened , it is too late in my treatment to switch. Now I’m hoping to get some help."
"I have always had a good experience with HonorHealth, even my last visit was good. However, there was a communication disconnect for my most recent visit. I was scheduled to see my doctor at 245pm, planned on the doctor visit, but then received a phone call the morning of to inform me I was getting iron and wanted me to come in at 1115am. First I heard I was getting iron. As I was checking in, the receptionist said my appointment was to have blood pulled and talk with the doctor. She received the appointment that I was also getting iron as I was standing there. It all worked out, just felt there was a huge disconnect with communication."
"My usual facility was closed & we had to move to the Mc Dowell location. We were made to feel welcome with kindness & smiles. The great cancer care & support is not site specific but a culture of Virginia Piper & Honor Health. It was worth the drive."
"Thank you for always treating my care with care, love and patience. Grateful to all at Honor Health."
