"I made an appointment for an imaging scan, which was very easy to do over the phone. The assistant was very helpful in looking up times that fit my schedule. Prior to my appointment, they were very good in sending out reminders as well as reaching out as they did not have a Dr. order on file. I reached out to the specialists office several times days prior to appointment and they assured me the day of that they would be sending the order over to the office. I arrived at my scheduled time and the very nice young lady checked me in to get started. I was completing paperwork when Xavier approached and said that they did not have the order yet from my Dr. I was really frustrated as I had called repeated days and 4 times on my day of appointment to be sure I had this. Xavier was very polite in explaining that they needed this to complete the procedure - they even tried reaching out to the office while I was there, but the office was closed by this time. I told him that I would reach out to them again in the morning. Xavier gave me his direct line to reach out to him if I needed any assistance and said to call him the next day to see if they could get me in. I had some meetings first thing, but before 8:30am I received a call from Xavier that he called and was able to get the necessary paperwork from the Dr. office. He went out of his way to assist in getting this information and I was appreciative that he took this on himself to help me out. I was able to get an appointment later in the afternoon and was checked in quickly. The technician was throurough, explaining everything in detail - even had some jokes. Xavier's professional, friendly, helpful attitude says a lot about his character and how much he cares about what he does day in and day out, no matter how frustrating it can be at times dealing with people in the medical field. Thank you again Xavier and staff for the extremely pleasant experience! Your corporate office should be very happy to have you all on board."
"Normally I would have given 5 stars for politeness and quickness. I gave 2 stars because the tech was very nice, but the lady in the front forgot to print my paperwork and I ended up waiting and hour and 49 minutes for my appointment. Not happy right now."
"Our experience was horrible. First, why is it not possible to make an appointment for an X-ray. I received daily text and phone calls advising they had the order and we should come in for the X-ray. Working people can’t just miss work to sit and wait all day. On Saturday, we arrived at 7am to checkin for a 8:30 walk-in (Avondale location). We were told that the tech who would arrive at 8:30 may or may not be able to perform the order. At 8:40am we asked the front desk (who was very professional) if she knew if the tech was able to perform the order. She advised that she was waiting from a call from her manager as no tech ever showed up for their shift. We were advised that a tech (who could perform the order) was working at the Central location. We drove there and after waiting a few minutes in line explained the scenario to the receptionist. She apologized and got us checked in - or so we thought. We went to the waiting room where 2 other patients were waiting. After 15 minutes, the tech called for patient #2. Then another patient from Avondale arrived (let’s call him patient #4). The tech then called patient #4 - skipping #1 and us. I went to receptionist and they said the system wasn’t checking us in correctly (?) and called to the tech telling him to call us next and she would write a list of the correct order! Finally, about noon we were done. Now, I am getting daily text and phone calls to “reschedule” my appointment! I waited on hold yesterday and explained that we needed the “duplicate order” cancelled. He apologized and confirmed he had deleted the duplicate. I just got another text AND phone call!"
"I will be looking for a different imaging provider. The waiting room feels like you are waiting in the ER. Small and crowded. The waiting area once you are taken back is not very private. I was waiting quite a while in a gown with an IV in a “hallway” with several people walking through it. The actual scan processes were great. Technicians with kind, knowledgeable and nice to work with. Once the images and reports were ready, it took a lot of effort to get them sent to my Oncology surgeon."
