"Overall a nice place to go to school. Really fun and easy to skip class here. The food at lunch is superior to any school in arizona. I used to be on break wishing I could go get some school lunch. A lot of the teachers seem to get off on trying to get kids yellowcards for anything possible and this one time I was there they had a suicide awareness month where they took donations from students and the profits they made went to ala which I personally think was messed up on their part"

"We switched to ALA 3 years ago after attending public schools for 9 years. It was by far the best decision we ever made. ALA has higher standards, they make students responsible for their own choices, they are more accommodating when it comes to helping students succeed. All around it's a way better atmosphere. We loved it so much we switched out other 3 kids over as well. Highly recommend."

"Out of four high schools I’ve been to this one was the best environment! I had some really amazing teachers that would take time to help me one on one and take time after school to help. Students on the other hand definitely have strange groups but usually you can find your group :) also lots of student you will find complain about this school but I can assure you through the 3 public schools I’ve been in, most public teachers I have found don’t care, ala teachers did the most for me."

"I personally go here and I can say that they have an amazing campus with quiet a bit of fun and awesome sports. With many different and really fun electives from learning a new language to learning how to play instruments. The reason I'm leaving a 4 star review is because all of my class are spread all the way across the campus. I also like the location because after school you can head over to circle-k and get a polar pop. Overall it's a wonderful school and I love the community."
