"This is great. It is also not crazy busy like many other things this amazing. After getting there down the dirt road it is a short shuttle and mine vehicle ride to get down to the mine depth. No ladders or stairs and I guessing a half mile walk on mostly smooth surface. Mine is the feature also included are stops at big old machines and old west town. Price is fair given the this is privately supported not tax payer supported like national parks."
"This was an overall difficult and frustrating experience. First of all, I'm sure the mine itself is incredible however the only way to visit the mine itself costs $75-$80 PER PERSON ON A GUIDED MINE TOUR. As a comparison: 1) Mammoth Cave (Cave City, KY) = $8 2) Carlsbad Caverns (Carlsbad, NM) = $15 3) Queen Mine Tour (Bisbee, AZ) = $14 4) Good Enough Mine Tour (Tombstone, AZ) = $20 5) Sterling Hill Mine Tour (Ogdensburg, NJ) = $15 7) Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour (Scranton, PA) = $10 This mine tour by itself costs nearly just as much as all of the other above mentioned caves and mines tours COMBINED! I have personally seen several shocked visitors walk away from the tour disappointed after hearing the price. Second, the road to get there is very rough and unpaved. Unless you are driving a truck/SUV, expect to drive 30-45 minutes on a 7.5 mile dirt road each way. Third, the website itself is old and hard to use. With the amount of money the place charges, I would expect a better online presentation. Fourth, there are no discounts available. None. No senior citizens, military, AAA, special days, or any other discounts for that matter. Which is surprising since there is a sizable military post nearby (Yuma Proving Grounds) in addition to a majority of people that visit the surrounding area are retirees, vacationers, and snowbirds. If the high price is right for you, then hopefully it will be worth the visit. For this very disenchanted reviewer however, the Enchanted Cavern experience for me was a 1/5 stars."
"Both the mine and the ghost town museum are incredible! The colors inside the mine are absolutely jaw dropping and the history of the area is so well preserved it is hard not to get caught up in the moment."
"Very interesting tour of the silver mine, above and below ground, approx 1.5 hrs total. Lots of artifacts on display. Small tour groups, max about 12 people, should reserve your spot in advance. Tour guide very friendly and knowledgeable. Very unique cavern in the mine with minerals that glow multi colors when under a black light. Apparently only 2 other locations in the world like this. But it is a small cavern, you would only spend about 10 minutes looking at the colors. The mine tour includes access to the mine museum, which is a collection of probably 30+ small historic buildings - mercantile, school, bank, etc. Again, many interesting artifacts on display. Could easily spend an hour or more going thru the buildings. All that being said, the ticket price was a bit steep. The mine tour was interesting but if you are on a budget I would recommend the museum and skip the mine tour."
"Expensive, but it's a nice mine tour with some really unique mineral deposits."
