Reviews
"Great history. Most noticeable are the bare feet of the inmates and rough stone floors, ankle bracelets and iron ball and chains. No AC or fans back then. Iron beds, but city residents complained when flushable toilets were installed as they didn't have them. Very limited on amenities so go prepared."
"Great field trip while visiting the Yuma area to learn about important history. Definitely check out the video and explore all the grounds. Kids had a great time."
"A must stop when you are in the area. It has a museum, gift shop, movie presentation and tour. We loved the tour and learned a lot about the history of the prison. People were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Plenty of free parking spaces when we arrived. Entrance cost $10 per person. Expect to spend at least 1-2 hrs. max. I highly recommend visiting this location"
