"This school year Ms.McCall has taught me not only history but how to have fun while being focused. She also have taught me how to work hard for not only the benefit of ourselves but the benefit of others. Some of the things I really admire about her is how she can always show people how to go and be kind (even when we don't feel like it), put care and hard work into everything we do, and be determined. When the school year started, I thought Ms. McCall would just be another teacher, like the ones I've had before who don't really care about their students and they just wanna get class over with. Instead, she was the complete opposite. Instead of not caring, you care about your students and wanted us to feel safe and happy in your classrooms and outside of it. Other teachers I've had in the past don't spend time checking in on students and talking to them and being a teacher that was there for me and my friends is very important to me and the people I know. Also with other teachers I've viewed them solely as a teacher, someone I see for 45 minutes-1 hour a day. Instead of being just a teacher, I see Ms.McCall as someone who cares for the students, not just academically.
