"roach infested. be aware. also screwed me out of $8000. keeps emailing me to register again when i’ve blocked and unsubscribed multiple times."
"The campus itself it great, everything is close by, but the amenities, not so much. Don’t let the beauty of the campus fool you. The dining hall typically only has hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and pizza (with a salad bar) for dinner. The POD options are extremely limited compared to other campuses, you’ll be lucky if the pool is open on time, and you probably shouldn’t step a foot off campus unless you’re in a car (not in the best area). The dorms are nicer than other campuses, but there is literally nothing to do here besides attend events they host. There’s a “Papa Johns?” No there isn’t. If you want to eat food with substance that hasn’t been sitting out for hours or grabbed with a bare hand, buy a meal plan with lots of M&G. The staff is super friendly and the health center is great, but if you ask someone some information around campus, they most likely will not have an answer for you, if you don’t have a car or a friend who has one, you’re stuck with the shuttle or uber and you have to get everything delivered. Absolutely nothing is open besides the POD and dining hall on both days of the weekend. I personally would rather have attended a different campus."
"I went to ASU West many years ago. It was nice to participate in the Open Door event to see how the school has grown over the years. My family and I really enjoyed the opportunity to see the campus and learn about what various programs are doing."
"It's a university that cares about both personal and professional growth. The west campus is my favorite of them all because it is quiet and has small classroom sizes. The only thing that would make it better is if it was fall all year round because this is one of the few places in Phoenix where you can literally see a change in the season's due to its landscaping."
"I transferred to ASU back in 2019 from community college. I attended college here for 2 years and graduated last year. All my professors I had at the West campus were good or great and I appreciate everything they did for me. During my 2nd semester is when the pandemic hit and classes moved online which was hard to deal with since the school's sporting events and graduation ceremonies were cancelled and not allowing fans when resumed. I had to finish college almost entirely online but I was still determined to just make the best of it and finish in 4 straight semesters which I did. I miss it here a lot and I always think of the old, fun times I had here. The city of Phoenix, Arizona and ASU became a big part of my life. I live in North Carolina now so it's hard for me to come back to visit but I'll come back to the campus to visit someday whenever I decide to take a vacation to Arizona. Forks up!!"
