"Very friendly yet professional. My interview went well. I'm just waiting for Candee to call with a second interview"
"I have 3 kids who have attended kusd20 for 8 years. They are really a great bunch of people who work together to make the best schools for our kids. One of my fave people there is Ms. TRUJILLO, always helpful and always looking out for the best interests of the kids."
"Not worth one star. Christina the front office staff is rude and insensitive to the concerns of parents. When wanting to place a complaint, nothing gets done. The KUSD staff are more then likely under qualified and under paid which shows when they interact with parents."
"Certain schools set their district in higher income neighborhoods, so that certain schools, like hualapai only have children privileged by their parents income, where as others like cerbat are over run with under privileged children because of the poverty level and drug/ mental health issues that exist in the residents of these neighborhoods. They segregate based off of income levels. Multiple teachers and other staff leave every year. The teachers are required to pay for many things out of their own pocket. Many of the parents have trouble finding daycare for their children or other suitable means of care while they go to work during the intersession breaks. The school district takes no concern over public hygiene issues, mainly lice. They have deemed lice a lifestyle choice, and do not perform checks, or require the parents handle the situation until fully resolved. They have no helpful information to treat and remove lice. How can it be a lifestyle choice, if my child gets it from another child that they were sat next too? How is it harmless to have a parasite living on our children? A parasite that feeds off of our children, defecates on their heads, breeds, and hatches young and dies on our children! Someone must do something to improve these and dozens more issues at these schools."
"Seriously?! Who comes up with the hours for children who are in elementary school???!!! How do you expect for these kids to get a good education with only 15 minutes of lunch then 15 minutes of recess? Then HOURS OF CLASSROOM TIME!!! What the hell!! I'm pretty sure you guys get a long ass lunch break. We as kids, when we were in school had an hour lunch break along with recess. We had 3 recess breaks not 1! Get your priorities straight. In addition school would start about 9am not FREAKING 7:15am. What kid gets up that early to start school. We are supposed to make a better future for our kids not screw it up!"
