"Staff is rude! They don't check I.D's also seen my son one day being bullied by two kids after school while he was on his bike. Took the kids to the office all the staff did was call the mom and they left.... They didn't get in trouble for harming my son. A week later the principle I found kicking my sons bike at the bike rack screaming at my son I wasn't allowed to stop the act I was told to stay behind the gate to wait for my child. Three days later kids bullied my son and they are not nice kids they will curse out at adults. Also a month after that his reach Mrs elvien. I caught holding my Che by his neck with her arm wrapped around and my son crying I slammed on my breaks honked my horn got out thinking why is no one doing anything about what's going on so I grabbed her arm and told her what she was doing was abuse and if she touched my child again that I'll be contacting the police I brought it up to the office and they didn't care at all for the inconvenience and abuse his teacher had done. I've had too many issue at this dump do not bring ur children here. If you do then you're stupid."
"The man at the front desk is very rude and unpleasant,!!! he shouldn't work at an elementary and have to be the first person you see, I am transferring my kids to this school I brought all paper work on a Wednesday early filled out and explained to him that I didn't have any more time off of work and my kids needed to be in school asap, He did send a request for the information until 2:20pm Friday, Mind you this is and the same city its Monday now and nothing still has been done he is so lazy... Glendale needs to get it together ASAP"
"The front office staff I've dealt with has had no integrity. They rush through everything and have made me feel like an inconvenience every time I have talked to them. I thought my son was MISSING because of an inaccurate absence email I received today. The staff wanted to blame the absence email on me saying that it was sent because my son was a couple minutes late. I got that email TWO AND A HALF hours after school started. If things were taken care of the absence should have been dismissed and this should have never happened. Instead I was worried sick for no reason. I called the front office to check that my son was there. I thought my call disconnected, then realised I was on hold without any warning from the receptionist after hearing, "he's missing, okay.." , and finally hung up on after "subjecting the staff to offensive language" as the principle put it while talking to him about her rude bahavior. I'm not sorry, any parent would get "pissed" if they were dealing with that kind of disrespect, especially if they thought their child was MISSING. Don't let the “Charter” title make you think this school is any more professional than the public school I took my son out of because of the bullying problems. Because he was bullied there too. THE SCHOOLS ARE HERE TO SERVE US, OUR COMMUNITY. WE ARE THEIR BOSS, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. WE SHOULD NEVER FEEL LIKE WE HAVE INCONVENIENCED OR HARASSED THEM WHEN WE TRY TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKES."
"The school is actually pretty all right. The teachers are hands on and very interactive with the kids. The curriculum is good. And Mr. De La Huerta is every thing you'd expect from an elementary school principal. The classes do have a high head count per teacher. But I blame that on a seriously lack of adequate funding. To rebut the "they don't I.d." comment, I seriously beg to differ. I walk my daughter to her class every morning via the office, and every morning like clock work, I hand over my Id in exchange for the visitors pass. The lady in the office is a little rough around the edges but hey that's life, your not going to like everything about everybody. Keep up the good work faculty!"
"This school has to be the worst!!! They are so unorganized, they have the kids standing in the hot sun for pick-up. In a public park I might add that is not part of the school! Nobody checks ID's when entering the school even though it is clearily posted Have ID ready!! They don't let kids enter on the gate by 75th even though there is a teacher at the gate, and now they have police patroling the street so you can't park to pick up your kid!! I had to park 2 blocks down! This is truly a horrible school!!!"
