"Hello Google people I’ve been playing ice hockey for 50 years obviously now I’m playing in adult leagues, but I am an aggressive skater. I still play like a younger man, but I’ve always wanted to have my skate blades profiled to Improve my turning power and have more stability and explosiveness. I’ve always read about the benefits of having your skate blades profiled which is different then just than just sharpening them , unfortunately there is not a lot of places to get this done, mostly have to send them out to Canada or Minnesota, but recently I found Gabe in Mesa Arizona of all places he owns a business called The Hollow and let me tell you this was a true blessing . I brought my skates to Gabe told him what I was looking to improve on and his knowledge of skating in the way blades work on the ice was amazing. I left him my skates, He did the profiling. And a sharpening for a very reasonable price. Let me tell you when I tried the skates for the first time what an incredible difference, this guy nailed it everything I wanted to get out of the profiling was achieved and I wish I did this 50 years ago. Let me finish this off by saying all skaters should get there blades profiled young kids to older guys like me because hockey first and foremost is about skating if you can’t skate well you can’t play hockey very well and even if you can’t skate, well, profiling will make it a whole lot better and actually make it a lot more fun to skate. Even if you don’t want your blades profiled bring your skates to Gabe for a sharpening on a regular basis 98% of skate shops really do not know how to sharpen blades very well nor do the kids that work there really care if they’re done well and it makes a huge difference.
