"I came to Tara not knowing what I needed; just knowing I needed to try something different while remaining open to whatever experience was offered. Traditionally, I am the personality type that is a controller, planner, and fixer. Initially it was hard for me to embarrass the ambiguity. Cognitively, I have always known what needed to be done on a surface level to get over certain issues, but I was never taught HOW to handle the emotional disaster “getting go” caused within me. Over the past decade I tried many things from outright avoidance to therapy and all failed because nothing truly taught me how to look within, acknowledge the emotion, and set it free.
