"This place should be shutdown. If I could give it no stars I would...I've worked in healthcare before and I can honestly say the staff are EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I called to make an appointment here through EAP and the person I spoke to was extremely rude when I called the first two times. My understanding I had an appointment set. I call again to give the authorization number through EAP. Same person tells me that I didn't set an appointment with her. Why give me a provider's name and a time when called the first time? If it was not an actual appointment when I called to give you the authorization a 2nd time. I asked to speak to a someone else. I was told their was no one else. Same person said she did REMEMBER speaking to me and that she needed my name and demographics and authorization. I was there to give it to her. She kept repeating herself. I asked if she remembered me than you should know who I am already. I had asked to speak to her supervisor. She RUDELY said "You know I don't think you'd be a good fit here." HUNG UP! DON"T EVER REQUEST HELP HERE. This person did not want to help and if that was said they don't care much about people at all with mental illnesses otherwise why give us so much trouble when we are trying to request the help ourselves."
"**PATIENT ABANDONMENT** Stay far away. Listen to the other reviews and look elsewhere for help. I’ve scheduled with Nellie Samuel (via telehealth) twice now, was diagnosed and prescribed, and for my follow up appointment she did not show but marked me as a no show. For no show appointments, you are charged a fee. I had to get that squared away and decided to reschedule with her later on in the day despite sitting there waiting half an hour for her to join. During my later appointment she was very rude, unprofessional, and didn’t listen to anything I had to say about my medication. She interrupted me every other word and asked me questions I had already answered. I asked her firmly to stop interrupting me because I felt disrespected. She got up in the middle of my sentence, came back, and told me to find another provider and abruptly ended my appointment with no plan for my medication. This is patient abandonment. On top of this, I had a counseling appointment that was canceled one day before my appointment about an hour before they closed by the counselor herself saying that she would no longer be working there, when I had scheduled the appointment TWO WEEKS in advance. These providers do not care about you and do not respect you. Update: she must have seen my review because one day later she sent me an email stating that I was disrespectful and was refusing to follow along with my treatment plan, and then told me I had a deadline to order medication from her. First of all, I never once refused any kind of treatment plan from her, and took no responsibility for her actions."
"I am so pleased with my experience yesterday meeting Randy Brazy MD And having that appointment go very well I thought. He was very attentive and asked me a lot of questions which helps me. A very nice man made you feel comfortable and safe right away. Your Courtyard is so beautiful when I was finished with my appointment I went and sat out there and just relaxed and reflected. You have the 2 giraffe out there the large one reminded me of my mother and the little 1 reminded me of myself and how she's always watching over me. Thank you for such a positive experience when I was terrified to go there. Linda S."
"I have been seeing Dr. Rockwell for 8 years - he is far and beyond the best psychiatrist I've ever seen. I have recommended him to everybody I know that needs a psychiatrist. But the office staff at Northlight are so horrible that I get panic attacks just from the idea of having to call them. The medication assistant has literally never picked up the phone in the 8 years that I have been a patient. She sends my meds to the wrong pharmacy frequently. I call to refill my stimulant medications a week in advance (because they can't refill controlled substances any sooner than that) and I often don't get it until I've been out for several days because she doesn't do her job. I'm embarrassed that I've ever recommended Northlight Counseling to anybody because of how awful the office staff is. It is clear they do not deal with any sort of mental health issues because of how callus and mean they are to the patients. They have literally mocked patients within earshot of other people. They are shameful and the entire staff needs to be overhauled. I have never had a single good experience with them. I am literally crying right now because of the idea of changing to a new psychiatrist, but I haven't had my medication in 2 weeks because of how useless the MA is."
"I have no issue with Dr. Rockwell but I have a huge issue with the office staff. They almost never answer their phones; ask you to leave your name and your concern and someone will call you back but they rarely do. I ran out of a medication at the end of last week and because I have my prescriptions filled through a mail order pharmacy, it takes longer to get my refill, sometimes as long as 10 days. Knowing how unresponsive this practice is I started to contact them 10 days prior to running out. I sent my request to the mail order pharmacy and they responded telling me they need a new prescription from my doctors office. So I attempted to call my doctors office by calling 8 times in five days and I was never put through to a human being to clarify the situation. In a few days I checked with the mail order pharmacy to see if they had received the new refill prescription. By then I got a message that my order had been canceled. I called the office again; I even left a voice mail with the doctor but the recording stated that his messages are retrieved by the office staff and he never hears them. By now I’m experiencing withdrawal symptoms and becoming quite agitated. I ended up calling my PCP to ask if she could contact the doctor’s office on my behalf and also could she write a bridge prescription to tide me over until the real problem can be remedied. Thank God she was willing to do this. This is not an isolated incident. It happens quite frequently and indicates to me that not only is this office not caring for its patients but is behaving unethically and perhaps performing malpractice. I really don’t know how to rectify this problem and there are very few doctors in this huge metropolitan city that accept my insurance although it’s one of the good ones. I feel trapped. If you have options, go elsewhere."
