"Why are all these kids in here posting comments? Most kids hate their school so it really is of no matter. What matters is scores. What matters is the majority of kids I speak with love this school. It is now a A+ school, has one of the highest test scores in the state. Looks like a few kids in here are having issues with authority more than anything. Or, have parents putting them up to it because their child isn't getting away with what they would at home. Keep up the good work West Wing"
"I go here and I love it im in the 6th grade and sometimes I struggle but it is just because I make it hard for myself. And I also love all of the teachers. Some might be strict here and there but they are doing it to help you learn more and get to the next grade. Worst part I would say is the students. Alot of the people in my grade are jerks. But I get along with some of them at times. Any ways all of the staff members are kind. I love how this school has no uniforms. When I went to kindergarden I had to wear a uniform. This school has great technology for the students to use. I have 1 other complaint. That is the food there it is not the best but it is good. But I love my school and someday I wish that all the teachers could get the paychecks that they diserve for teaching all these children."
"We had both good and bad experiences with teachers here. The last year our son went here he really struggled. We ended up deciding to home school and haven't once regretted our decision."
"This school unfortunately does not meet the mark with me, and I am regretful that I have to leave one star at all. My son has been attending since we moved in the neighborhood in the beginning of his 7th grade year and the kids that attend with him are; for lack of a better term, complete and utter bullies. If there is an altercation they sign agreements not to talk to the other student, which is a ridiculous punishment for a child. Most of these kids are "privileged" and have zero regard for others and are pretty vicious to any they feel might be "beneath" them. Sadly, because the boundaries are so narrow and most kids walk to and from, all of the kids know where everyone lives. We have fallen victim to many instances of TPing as well as our breaker box being tampered with. My son is made fun of for being Jewish and the VP's "solution" to that is to have "sensitivity talks" with the bigots that target him. The school claims to have no tolerance for bullying but I'm unsure what the metrics of those standards are. It happens frequently to a lot of students and it's above the norm in comparison to any other school my son has attended."
"This is by far the worst school I have ever attended, I went to West Wing from the 7th-8th grade and it was terrible. The bullying is out of control even though the excuse of a principal is trying to stop it. The teachers don't even follow the procedures of reporting bullying and just completely ignore it. In the 8th grade the science teacher was fired about 3 months into the school year and we had incompetent substitutes who didn't know what they were doing on and off for the rest of the year. The 8th grade math teacher in particular was the worst part of 8th grade. She would constantly accuse me of not paying attention and talking in class when I rarely did and then would send me out of the class for that period when I denied it. She was also very unhelpful and would only assist you with something you didn't understand if you were one of the students she "favorited" over others and as a result of that over half of the kids in my period failed that class. Overall I would beg that you DO NOT send your kids here, it is an absolutely horrible school"
