"The school is not that good. The teachers dont care for there students. And even the staff don’t even care for the kids. A lot of the staff have been mean to me for no reason. When I went to chicken club with my friend one of the chickens got out one of the staff got mad at me and started yelling and I was trying to put the chicken back. I’ve been at this school for 3 years and I hated it."

"Terrible. I went there for Apr.-May 2014. Like wth? They were terrible to their students. Welp. They would play "What does the fox say" every second of the day. Also they taught horrible, gave a mountain of homework, and they only want a high grade to save their butts. I do not recommend at all. And fyi, i once had to go home BLEEDING."

"My son had been attending Ocotillo Ridge since kindergarten - 4th grade. There is a serious bullying problem at this school with both students and some teachers. This is a subject people do not like to discuss--especially in the prized award winning Vail School District. I tried to reach out to the two principles who worked / work at Ocotillo. The first one denied what was happening, refusing to look into the situation. The principle now just ignores me. Won't return my emails, or phone calls. I also tried to contact the superintendent during these times, but it is the same ignoring story. I am now in contact with someone in the district office, but after having to withdraw my son from his school yesterday (and not being taken seriously, or even talked to in the past) I am not holding my breath. Being out in Vail, we do not have many choices for schools. In our current location we really only have one other choice. I am sad for the tramadic scars my son is left with, and for the help he didn't receive from the adults he trusted."

"We love this school and its teachers. It's not perfect, a little bit small town cliqish, but the parent involvement is great. I like and respect most of the teachers. Sine if the kids are bullies abs the school leadership seems list in what to do, but most kids there are great abs kind."
