"I was in Havasu for a few days and my wife wanted to go to a range and found Sam’s. The store was great, the workers were great. And while she was shopping I asked if they had any subsonic .22lr. They did have a box and he found it, I bought it and when I got home 5 hours away I realized it was originally a box of subsonic ammo, but it was currently a box of ammo for the range and has 5 different types of rounds in it from 4 different manufacturers. C’mon guys. With this brand of .22 ammo the plastic box is always taped sealed so you can’t open it and look at the ammo normally. I never thought to check. I have never needed to check. The moral of the story is, Sam’s Emporium is an amazing store with a huge variety of things, but they have mixed reviews for a reason. Don’t be stupid like me, pay attention to what you are looking at and buying."

"Would absolutely recommend! Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable staff who really made my wife and I feel very comfortable. Tired of all the overpriced, “boutique” gun stores in Havasu, and want to actually feel like you’re valued as a customer? Sam’s has you covered. Great selection, SO much gear and ammo and an inviting atmosphere, plus… THEY HAVE AN INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE! Incredible, how many places can you buy a firearm and then literally step into the next room and try it out? Not many. Overall, great experience, very satisfied with our purchase!"

"We came as tourists without any experience at all and had a great day at their shooting range. We were properly instructed and it was real fun, we had very friendly staff throughout the whole shop and the pricing was absolutely okay, considering the time and fun we had. Regarding the other reviews I read after our first visit: I didn't see anyone in the shop who could be described as (even ever so slightly) "rude" - I saw open minded, supportive and reasonable people."
